Part 19

You run your hand over his chest and chuckle, "Wow....for an old man, you're so very good at that."

Bucky chuckles, "I might be an old man, but I know this old man showed you a good time and you think I'm sexy." He grins as he puts his hand under your chin and tilts your head into a kiss.

You smirk at him. "Oh, I definitely think this old man is very sexy and it was such a very good time." You cuddle into him. "I also think you make a really good pillow."

You drift back off to sleep with Bucky still rubbing your back. He plays with your hair and watches you smiling. He falls asleep soon after you and neither of you hear the jet land a few hours later.

After landing, Steve and Sam take Nat to Bruce in the medbay. Nat's ok but has a pretty bad bruise on her hip. They make eye contact and chuckle while leaving quickly as they remember what Nat made Y/N say. They aren't fast enough though. Bruce is talking low to Nat and they hear her breathy answer "Oh, yes doctor."

Sam chuckles and shudders. "I'm glad they're happy with each other, Lord knows they both deserve it but after hearing that.... I'm going to need to bleach my brain."

Steve shakes his head as he chuckles, "I know, right?! I-"

They're walking by Tony's lab as they're talking. Tony calls out to them, "Cap, Sam - can one of you see if Y/N's up? I want to get started on decrypting this and I want her to help me start it so I can get some shut eye while it's working."

Steve nods, "Sure Tony. We'll let her know."

Steve and Sam walk upstairs. Sam's room is on the right before they reach Y/N's room. Sam stops and gives Steve a side eye look, "How are you doing with all of this?"

Steve shrugs, "Honestly, a little sad she didn't choose me but it's really for the best. I don't think we'd actually make a good couple. Once he stops giving her her the silent treatment, they'll be really good for each other. And from what he said the other night when we were in the common room, it sounds like they're moving in the right direction, so here's hoping because his grumpy, pouting ass is getting annoying."

Sam chuckled and nodded in agreement, "Isn't his ass always grumpy and moody? Seriously though, you ok to ask her or do you want me?"

Steve chuckles at Sam's jab at Bucky, "She and I are fine, we've been fine since we talked the night Fury was here. I can let her know."

Steve walks to your door and hears noises inside, thinking you're awake he's about to knock when he hears you let out a shriek and then a thud against the floor. He throws the door opens  without knocking and runs in, looking around frantically for you. "Y/N! Y/N! Are you ok?"

He sees you sitting naked on the floor with just a sheet partially covering you. You have a shocked expression on your face, both from being pushed off the bed and Steve bursting into your room. You reach up and grab a hand full of the sheet, giving it a hard pull. Hard enough to get it off the bed and pull it fully on you to cover yourself but in doing so you completely exposed Bucky. Bucky comes awake quickly at the noise around him and the loss of the sheet. Seeing Steve, Bucky grabs a pillow to cover himself. Bucky looks shocked, "Steve, what are you doing?!"

Steve stares at the two of you blankly, "Why are you both naked?! And Bucky, what are you doing doing in Y/N's room?

You look nervously at Bucky. You thought you'd have more time before discussing the change in your relationship with everyone. "Um.... well, we ...."

Bucky gives a smugish smile at Steve and licks his lips, "Steve... you don't get a detailed answer to that."

Steve looks at both of you and then the light clicks on for him, "Oh...ok.. well. Um... good?" He looks down, away from the both of you.
