Part 25

**With the team**

The team is in the meeting room planning the recon mission to get Erin when Fury and Maggie walk in. Maggie looks lost and is still crying silent tears. Wanda grabs a bottle of water and brings it to her.

Fury looks around the room, "Have you given them the run down?"

Tony nods, "Everything but the powers part."

Fury sighs, "So, when I first met Y/N I was on a mission. We've always told her that I stopped her before she touched anything. But in reality, she came into contact with some chemicals. At first we didn't think they had affected her. However, as she grew older we realized it gave her regenerative powers. Her body heals itself at an accelerated rate. She doesn't seem to have any other powers but we've never tried to uncover them if they are there. She doesn't know. So, this is going to be a shock to-" Fury's explanation is cut off by Y/N's scream.

Everyone looks at each other shocked at the sound. Fury and Steve are the first to race out of the room, followed closely by everyone else. When they reach the balcony, Y/N is gone and Bucky is lying on the ground writhing in pain. Bruce runs over and pulls the electrode off him.

Steve kneels next to Bucky, "Bucky what happened?"

Bucky is breathing heavily and sweating, still in pain from the electrode. "Someone was on the balcony. We were talking and they shot me with that." He points to the electrode. "It was like a high powered stun gun that wouldn't stop. He took her. She... god, she fought him and I couldn't help. They injected her with something and she dropped. I heard him call her Jamie. We have to find her." His eyes plead with Steve for help.

Maggie lets out a small cry at Bucky's words and Fury pulls her into him.

Tony looks around, "How did they leave?"

Bucky sighs, "A chopper."

Tony raises an eyebrow, "Those bastards got a chopper past my security? Friday, do a sweep of the area and find any aircraft in the area and track them."

Friday immediately responds, "Yes, Mr. Stark."

Tony walks over to the metal disc Bruce pulled off Bucky. He kicked it with his toe and jumped back with a yelp. "Shit! That's still going. Friday, scan the metal disc on the ground directly in front of me. What is it?"

"It is an electrical device that will emit a steady pulse of electricity at high voltages. This has the voltage to stun a large animal. This particular voltage would be used for a medium sized bear or animal of similar weight.

Clint gives a low whistle. "They waited for their chance to get to her and brought something they knew would take down a super soldier. This was well planned."

Bruce was holding Bucky's wrist feeling his pulse. "Bucky, I need to do a few tests on you to make sure it didn't damage your heart or other organs."

Bucky shook his head and pulled his hand back. "No, we don't have time. We need to get her back."

Bruce sighed, "Bucky the tests won't take long. Maybe 15 minutes. The team will be working on finding where they're taking her while you get them done. We need to make sure you're going to be ok."

Maggie approached Bucky and Bruce, she kneeled down to their level. "Come on, I'll go with you while they figure out where my girls are."

Bucky looks at Maggie, he sighs and nods at her. He lets Bruce and Maggie lead him off to the medical bay. He looks over his shoulder at Steve, his eyes pleading. Steve nods at him reassuringly.

Steve turned back to the group. "Alright guys. We need to find out where they are taking Y/N. Let's go."

At Steve's words, everyone hurried back into the meeting room to pour over all the documents and try to find a clue as to where Y/N and Erin could be.
