After the first official time of putting on his Ravenclaw robes and changing yet again in front of the boys, Sebastian headed to breakfast. He had gotten to know Manuel and Stephen a bit better over Sunday, however, still hadn't had a chance to listen to Dina about Chantal and the letter.
The Great Hall was busy on the first Monday of the term with many people anxiously checking their schedules and figuring out their ways to each class. Sebastian smiled, as Stephen told him more about each class.
''How'd you do in your O.W.L.s?'' Stephen asked. ''we had the exams last term and got our results back in August.''
''Same thing,'' Sebastian answered. ''so I chose some subjects I'd like to take...''
Nonetheless, the choosing came hard to Sebastian back in August when he found 'his' copy of examination results from Ilvermorny. He had gotten an Outstanding in Potions as well as Charms - two of the subjects he lacked the most in previously. As he knew he could at least catch up in Charms, he figured to simply abandon Potions not to fail in front of other people.
''Manuel isn't going to take Potions either,'' Stephen said, checking Sebastian's schedule. ''I am!''
''What'd you get? I got an Acceptable and I knew that was the last of Potions I'd like to see,'' Manuel joked.
''Oh, I was quite good but I'd like to focus on something else,'' Sebastian replied but Manuel insisted on telling them. ''okay, well, I got an 'O' but I don't like Potions that much...''
''You HAVE to go! Snape will teach you so many things!'' Stephen exclaimed.
''As well as bullying the absolute shit out of you. He doesn't like non-Slytherins,'' Manuel scoffed. ''pretty much all his faves are there...''
''That sucks... wait, really?'' Sebastian wondered.
''Sort of. Even if you're excellent in the class, he's just... mean,'' Manuel said.
''Even to you?'' Sebastian asked, looking at Stephen.
The boy nodded.
''He's just like that but I still like Potions too much to give a crap about him,'' Stephen added.
