Out and back in

James – Wait a minute, so the vault upstairs leads to a room and that room leads to another room?

Jen – Well, the vault leads to a tunnel to be exact but yeah, you're correct.

Vic – Did you find any more information on any of us?

Bella – We didn't look for anything else. We wanted to get back to tell you guys everything.

Jen – We also wanted to take James with us since he's the only one that might not be needed. No offence James.

James – Non taken, don't worry. 

Vic – When are you guys going in again?

Bella – We need to rest a bit before we go back in, right Jennifer?

Jen – Exactly Isabella! 

Thomas – Hey, I'd like to talk to you, Bella.

Bella – Sure.

Thomas – Come with me. 

I followed him once again out of the lab and towards the staircase. This time we didn't walk upstairs. We just sat on the stairs. 

Thomas – Are you okay? It's okay if you're not. All this is crazy as it is.

Bella – I'm okay. Well, as okay as I'll ever be in this house but okay. You don't get to ask me that every time you see me, though. 

Thomas – Why not?

Bella – Well for starters, you drank poison earlier and, you're having the symptoms that show that the poison is affecting you.

 Thomas – Vic and Nick told me that having symptoms is good so we know how fast the poison is acting.

 Bella – It doesn't make it less scary.

Thomas – I'm going to be alright, don't worry. I'm still in the first one and They were saying that they think they'll figure it out quite quickly. 

Bella – Tell me how you feel, Thomas. I can see something in your eyes and I can't tell what it is.

Thomas – I'm scared too, Bella. I'm anxious and I can't picture how Leah is doing. I'm worried about her. My mom can take care of them but I can't help but wonder. 

Bella – You must be an awesome older brother. 

Thomas – Well I try to be. The only person who can confirm that is Leah. When we get out of here. *Thomas pauses taking a deep breath* I want you to meet Leah, if I end up not making it, I want you to go see her from time to time. 

Bella – Don't say that Thomas! You said it yourself that you were going to be alright! I'll love to meet Leah. We can hang out with her from time to time when we get out of here. *I smile softly tilting his head with my hand so he is now facing me* She must be a really strong girl. I know you are strong too! Try a little harder, for Leah and me. *I whispered that last part not being sure if he could hear it. The fact is that he smiled after I finished*

Thomas – I will try harder.

 Jen – Bella, Bella, Bella! I figured it out! *she said running in our direction*

Bella – What? *I asked standing up*

Jen – The door! It's the locked door between the lab and the room of the 4 mystery doors that nearly killed Thomas and Alex. 

I take a moment to think to remember the door she was talking about.

Bella – Oh shit you're right. We need to go back!
