Alex – What is it then?

Bella – Each key might have a target. Clue A led us to the key that Aria found in that kid's book. That key had an A1 written on it which led us to this room. Here Jennifer found this key in the mirror frame. This key has a J written on it and it opened the closet that had a key inside. That key has a V written on it. Victoria might be the key to find the next key.

Thomas – That actually makes a lot of sense. Also, there must be another key with an A and another J. We have Aria and Alex whose names start with an A. Then we have Jennifer and James whose names start with J.

Bella – Yeah you might be right!

Victoria – Bella how did you find the door to the library?

Bella – I checked the doorknob.

Thomas – Everyone check the doorknobs! *he ordered*

As soon as those words left his mouth everyone got out of the room. As I was going to do the same, he grabbed my hand with that my body turned around and hit his. I looked up and gave him a confused look as I took a few steps back. He chuckled at my confusion.

Thomas – Come with me downstairs, I need to check that door again.

Bella – Okay. For future reference, next time you could ask before you just grab my hand out of the blue.

Thomas – Noted. Also, what happens if I don't do that?

Bella – I'll start calling you Billy.

Thomas – Billy? *he chuckled turning his head to the side to avoid eye contact*

I raised an eyebrow and smirked at his reaction. This is going to be funny.

Bella – Yep.

Thomas – Why Billy?

Bella – I don't know. I just feel like it. Didn't you want to go downstairs?

Thomas - Yeah, let's go.

We ran downstairs as fast as we could. I don't know Thomas really well but I think that he actually is as nice as James and Nick said. He seems to be smart which is definitely going to be really helpful.

Thomas' P.O.V

We got downstairs and went straight to the door I was checking earlier. I had a feeling I needed to check it. I can't explain the feeling I had but I decided not to ignore it and now here we are. As I was exanimating the doorknob, I could see Bella looking at me from the corner of my eye. She always appeared to be a nice girl and I guess it is true, at least it has been so far.

Thomas – Bella look, it has a J right here on the side.

She came closer to me to look. I was looking at her the whole time to see her reaction. The look on her face was a mixture of surprise and happiness. It was really cute, to be honest. She took the key from her pocket and placed it on the keyhole. It fits!

Bella – GUYS! WE FOUND THE DOOR!

Not a second later all we could hear were footsteps getting louder as they got closer to us. When everyone arrived, she twisted the key opening the door. Inside there was a small plain room with three doors, one on each wall. We look at all three closed doors. The door right in front of us was darker than the others and had nothing special to it at least, at first sight, the one on our left had nothing special to it just like the one in front of us. The door on our right on the other hand had a small piece of paper on it. As we approached the door it got clearer to see that there was a V written on that piece of paper. I looked at Bella looking for approval to try to open the door and she nodded in agreement. I twisted the doorknob and the door opened. I opened it slowly only to reveal a laboratory. Once again, not what I was expecting at all. I was confused and I KNOW I was not the only one. Alex looked just as confused as I was.

Victoria – NO WAY!

Nick – THIS IS AMAZING!

Nick and Vic looked like little kids in a toy shop or a candy shop. I had no idea what was going on and looking around I could see especially Alex, James, and Jen even more confused than I was. I looked over to Aria and Bella they also looked slightly confused. Bella whispered something to Aria and quickly left the room. I was intrigued so I followed her. I went straight to the library. This library has a lot of sections with multiple books in each. She walked to the geography section but before she grabbed a pencil from a table near that section.

Thomas – Geography? Really?

Bella – Jesus Christ! *she said jumping from fear* You scared me Billy!

I started to laugh uncontrollably.

Bella – It's not funny!

Thomas – Yes it is! *I said trying to catch my breath from laughing. *

Bella – So why did you stalk me here Billy?

Thomas – I just wanted to ask you a question and came after you.

Bella – What was the question?

Thomas – Now I have a new one. Why did you come here?

Bella – This doesn't feel right! We have a massive library, a lab better than the one we have at school, and god knows what more.

Thomas – I do agree with you but that doesn't answer my question.

Bella – I want to get out of here as soon as I can. When you look out of any window you see woods. This house isn't in the middle of the woods but is isolated and I wanna know from which way we'd have more success trying to escape.

Thomas – That is actually a good way of thinking.

Bella took a book out of the shelf while chewing on her bottom lip. She was so determined on getting us all out of here. As she opened the book a note fell to the floor. I picked it up and unfolded it. It was a map of the whole city. There were notes on it.

Thomas – Bella, I think we're not the first ones to be trapped here.

Bella – What do you mean?

Thomas – This is a map. It has notes. Blue ink pen. From what I've seen there is not a single pen around here.

*Through the walkie-talkie*

Aria – Victoria found the key. Come back you guys, we need your help.

Bella – Okay, we're on our way down.

Bella put the walkie-talkie back in her pocket and looked into my eyes hopefully. With that, we sprinted down the stairs. We probably looked like little kids. When we got back in the lab Victoria handed Bella the key and said that it had the letter N on it.

Thomas – Has anyone found a room with an N?

Alex – I have. I'll show you which one it is.

With those words, we all ran up the stairs after Alex. It feels so good to be able to open these doors. Alex led us to the room and Bella handed me the key. I put the key in the keyhole and twisted it. The door opened and I quickly opened the door. Inside there was another bedroom! Probably Nick's and Vic's room.

James – Only two rooms left! Let's go people!
