Isabella Crawford or like she likes to be called, Bella is high school student with a normal life up until she gets an invitation to go to a secret party on the last day of school before spring break starts. She and her best friends are tempted to g...
Bella – Okay, please work on that as fast as you can, ill help you guys if you need anything.
Vic – We'll call you if we do.
Bella – Back to the code we go.
Alex – Bella, come here.
James – I'll go downstairs to see if I'm right. See you up there.
We watch as James walks to the door. Before I looked back at Alex he grabbed my hand.
Alex – I know you're scared. We all are, but I don't think that not talking to Thomas will solve anything. Support him right now. He doesn't have to suffer more than he already is, the thought of him leaving Leah and his mom will kill him on its own.
Bella – I need to find the code! It might get us out of here and if Vic and Nick don't find the antidote he might die. * I explained trying to blink away the tears forming in my eyes*
Alex – I can see you like him, Bella be here for him.
James – BELLA! BELLA! BELLA! BELLA! *James screaming storming into the room*
Bella – What? God stop screaming!
James – I FOUND IT!
Bella – YOU WHAT?
James – Follow me!
Me and James sprinted upstairs faster than you can say pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (longest word in the English dialect). We were standing in front of the open vault's door looking at a passage to God knows where, it was peach black in there so none of us could see anything in there.
Bella – How did you find it?
James – It was in the bathroom near the toilet paper. I was taking a shit and was bored so I analyzed the whole bathroom.
Host – Very well-done James. I admit that I didn't put quite as much effort in hiding this code but I didn't think it'd be you the one who would find it.
James – Thank you...I guess...?
Host – I am going to give you all a break. I feel like you guys need it. Go down to the lab please, everyone's there except for you two.
James and I excitedly went down the stairs and into the Lab to tell them about our new find! When we walked in everyone was talking and laughing except for Thomas, he was sitting on a chair with his head leaning down.
Host – Now that the family is here I have an announcement. So other than James opening the vault upstairs, I chose two people to get in there to find what's on the other side. I won't tell you guys just yet because I'm giving you a break. Lastly, I'd like Bella and Thomas to go upstairs to the library.
At the mention of Thomas' name, I looked at him only to find him staring at me. When he noticed I was looking at him he smiled and got up. He started walking and when he met me he whispered 'Come on'. I couldn't contain the smile as I turned around to see him walk through that door once again. He waited for me to also get out of the lab before walking towards the staircase we needed to climb before we could get to the library.
Bella – So, how are you?
Thomas – I've been better, you?
Bella – Same. I'm sorry for storming out like that. I shouldn't have.
Thomas – It's okay, I don't blame you for anything.
Bella – It could have been me in your place, Thomas. You need to get out of here to help your mom and to be there for Leah.
Thomas – I won't die Bella.
Bella – Do you still have the paper with the list of symptoms you might have?
Thomas – Yeah, it's in my pocket I'll- Bella help! *He said grabbing the stair rail so he doesn't fall down the stairs*
Thomas – Yep. This has only been temporary for now.
Bella – Doesn't matter, we still need to get to the library. There are chairs there, be strong just a while longer.
Thomas – I say that to you! I'm not the lightest person ever you know? I mean, I'm a 6' feet |A/N (approximately 1.82 m) | football player.
Bella – Yeah, I've noticed that but I'm strong, you know?
Thomas – Yep, noticed that. Just a while longer, Bella, I'm starting to feel one of my legs again.
Bella – It's okay. I can take it! *I said as I started to struggle*
Thomas – It's okay, I can feel one leg.
Bella – I'm still not letting go of you, Billy. I'll help you get up the stairs.
He agreed with some visible hesitation on his face. I didn't care, I am NOT leaving him. I should have talked to him sooner but what matters is that I'm here now! I have no idea what will happen next. I have no idea if what happened will turn permanent. I have no idea what other symptoms he might have but I'm not giving up on him or on anyone that is inside this house with me right now! We managed to get up the stairs and into the library quite fast considering the circumstances. Thomas grabbed a bookcase until I got a chair for him as quickly as I could. I placed the chair near the bookcase that he was holding on to and helped him sit down.
Thomas – Damn, I'm like a grandpa now. *he chuckled*
Bella – Well, in that case, I need to find grandpa Billy something to walk cause I'm tired! *I said giggling*
Thomas – Well come here, child.
Bella – I won't sit on your lap like you're Santa. I'll go grab myself a chair.
Thomas – But what if I am Santa?
Bella – Pick a character!
Thomas – I'd be Santa if that means I get you sitting on my lap! *He tried to say with a straight face but at the ends started to giggle*
Bella – You're so annoying! *I rolled my eyes*
Thomas – You've been putting up with me for quite some time now, I thought you were used to it by now. Also- *he said before tucking some of the hair that fell to my face behind my ear*
I looked into his eyes and saw his gaze stuck at my lips. A few moments later he looked into my eyes and tilted his head slightly to the right. It was now my turn to look at his lips before looking at his eyes once again. He seemed to remember something right before he took his hand from my face.
Thomas – You had some hair on your face. *he finished*
Bella – Thank you. *I said looking down at my feet hoping that he didn't notice that I was blushing*
Bella – Oh you were going to give me the list. * I remembered*
Thomas – Oh, right! I forgot about that. Here you go. *he stated handing it to me*
