Bella's P.O.V

We got to the door; it was open so we got in. The house looks very small and degraded from the outside but it is actually huge and it doesn't look degraded, it looks like it was renewed on the inside. To be this big it most definitely has more than one floor. There was a huge sitting area on our right side, probably a living room. When I looked further away a saw a staircase. I looked up to see if I could see anything else but I could see very little, only some kind of balcony all around. When I looked to my left there was a door, the light inside that room was on. That must mean that someone's in there. We looked at each other and start going in the door's direction. We suddenly heard someone laugh. That freaked me out! We walked in the room and- oh no! Jennifer and her minions were there. It looked like a kitchen but a weird one. More vintage with some new gadgets and a sitting place. Thomas was sitting on a chair with a beer in his hand while Alex was sitting on the couch also with a beer in his right hand and his left one around Jennifer's wait. Jennifer was talking with Victoria who was also sitting on a chair. Close to the couch. They are the last people I expected to see here.Jennifer – You guys? Really?James – What are you guys doing here?Alex – We came to a party but this seems empty.Aria – This literally makes no sense.Victoria – So you guys got the invitations too?Nick – Yeah.*The front door slams aggressively*As soon as we realized that the sound came from the front door, we ran to the door trying to open it but with no luck, unfortunately.Jennifer – What do we do now?Bella – Maybe try any windows back doors, anything.Jennifer – I'm not taking any orders from you.Bella – I'm just trying to get out of here. Also, you asked a question and I answered.Thomas – Don't be like that Jennifer! We need to get out of here!Aria – This place is huge though. It's going to take so long!Thomas – We need to split up. That way we will cover more ground and take less time.James – Maybe it's better if we go like a person from our group and a person from yours.Jennifer – Ew why?Alex – C'mon don't be like that babe.James – We have walkie-talkies.Jennifer – What for? We have phones.Nick – Yeah, phones with no signal. What are you going to do with that?Victoria – Jen that does not sound like a bad idea.Jennifer – Fine, I'll stay with James then.Alex – Why James?Jennifer – Why not?Aria – Actually no, you're staying with me! I don't want you running around while not doing anything.Jennifer – I won't take orders from any of you.Aria – I guess that you won't be getting out of here then.Jennifer – Fine!James – Alex you stay with me?Alex – Sure.Aria – I think that Bella and Floyd should stay together.Thomas – Please call me Thomas. *he begged*Alex – Why though?Aria – Bella is a great leader and Thomas is the captain of the football team so he is also used to think strategically.Thomas – It's okay for me. *he said looking at me and smiling*Bella – Yeah, it's okay for me too. *I smiled back*Nick – So I guess we're together. *he said scratching the back of his neck while looking at the floor*Victoria – Yeah. *she smiled softly*Bella – Well let's go! We still need to get out of here! Thomas, we check the back?Thomas – Sure!Aria – Where do you want us to check?Bella – Maybe the front. The rest of the boys and Victoria could check upstairs.Alex – Sure let's go.As soon as those words left his mouth everyone started to look for any way for us to get out of there. I could hear Jennifer complaining, poor Aria. She did a good thing once we all know that James would have let her just sit around. As I was trying to open a window that seemed to be impossible to open, I looked over to Thomas trying to open the door that was there.Thomas –What are you looking at?Bella – Just wanted to see if you had any luck opening that door.Thomas – Well not really. *he said turning around to face me*Bella - There no other way out back here.Thomas – Yeah, maybe we should check on the other.Bella – Yeah, Jennifer and Aria aren't talking anymore, let's hope they didn't kill each other.*a strong bang was heard from upstairs*Alex – SHIT!Of course, we all rushed to where the sound was coming from. Me, Thomas, Aria, and Jennifer ran up the stair as fast as we could to get to the room where Alex, James, Nick, and Victoria were looking at each other. The room they were in wasn't small but it wasn't very big either, the only things that were inside were a rug, a round table, and a few chairs around it. They all were standing in front of a big window that was there in a big circle.Thomas – What happened here?Aria – Why is that chair broken?I haven't noticed the broken chair that was sitting in the middle of them until Aria brought it up. I don't know if I should be scared or not but this is either going to be really funny or really scary.Alex – Well, there are several doors locked and we found no other way out so we decided to throw a chair at the window.James – But instead of breaking the window, it broke a perfectly good chair.Victoria – We didn't find a way out either.Jennifer – We didn't find any way out either.I looked at Aria and she nodded t me meaning that Jennifer was right.Bella – Me and Thomas didn't find anything.Voice – Welcome! Please come down to the entrance!We all looked at each other confused and then, eventually started to walk towards the entrance. We all looked confused because we saw no one earlier so who was talking? When we got there, we saw no one. The entrance was the same way we left it.Voice – Thank you for coming my guests! This means a lot to me!James – Who's talking?Voice – Ah yes, I'm your host. Your mission is to get out of here as soon as possible.Jennifer – So you invited us here and now want us to get out?Host – Exactly, I'll be here to see your every move.Alex – What if we don't get out?Host - You'll starve to death.Bella – Okay, anything else you wanna say?Host – I- Um sure... I see you guys have chosen pairs; I have four rooms prepared for you guys to sleep on. You guys need to find the keys and in there, you guys will find the next clues.Thomas – So this is going to be kind of an escape room?Host -Yes. Goodbye for now. Oh and, please don't destroy my furniture.We looked at each other without knowing what to think. I mean, I don't want to die and leave my mom alone. I need to find those keys! I could see that Victoria, Nick, and Alex were worried. Jennifer and Aria were still trying to understand this situation. I'm confused with all this and I can't read Thomas! I was looking at the floor thinking. Bella, you need to think quickly. Also, you're just wasting time right now. I looked back up just to see the seven of them looking at me.Nick – What do we do now?Bella – We look for the keys! *I demanded*
