Chapter 26: "Sad"

A/n: time to do a Loren POV as well since we all deprive of what happens at her end teehee🤠

Loren's P.O.V:

The night before was the one of the worst nights ever. I couldn't sleep and all I wanted was just for the night to end for the clock to strike noon. I wanted the time to pass as fast as it could.

It's a very special day today. I've been pondering about it for a very long time but Harvey convinced me to go for it. I could finally get all my hard work recognised.

"RECORD DEAL BABY!" I smile with dark eye circles in the backseat while my manager drove me to the place.

"Hell yeah! We've come so far together, it's crazy to be where we are right now. We are so blessed." He looks at me through the driver's mirror and smiles.

My phone rings and I suddenly a wave of sadness hit me like a hurricane.

I wish he could be here with me, it's such an important moment to me. He even knows that, but yet he can't be with me. I mean, he has his own commitments too after he blew up on YouTube. He has been working with his producer very closely to produce his very first single.

He wants the single to be as close to perfect as it could be. He doesn't want to disappoint his fans.

I look out the window and the droplets start to dash across. They looked like little comets and wishing stars. I traced them and watch them race to the bottom of the window.

The droplets seem to form more and more on the screen. But they grew heavy and fell, suddenly causing everything to feel clear again.

I quickly took a piece of tissue to wipe off my tears.

I really hope you could be here Harvey.

A day before

I checked my schedule. Darn it. Tomorrow is her biggest day and I have to go back to the studio?

I really would love to work on my song but missing out on her big day? I will not forgive myself for that.
