Chapter 19

A few days later
Maldives

Kristina is awake, finding it hard to sleep. She goes out for a swim to tire herself out. She quietly opens & closes the door to the patio. She climbs down the ladder & swims. The water is still warm. She splashes around a bit too much. Tony turns over, partially awake & notices Kristina isn't in bed.

He sits up & calls out her name. He sees the curtain has been moved a bit. So he gets up, walks over to the patio doors & sees her swimming. He stands there for a bit, just watching her. He decides to open the door a couple of minutes later & heads outside.
"What are doing up?", he asks.
"Oh my god. Tony, you scared me. I couldn't sleep so I was hoping this would tire me out."

"Why didn't you wake me up?", he says climbing into the water. He walks over to her.
"Cuz you were sleeping so peacefully, I didn't want to wake you."
He touches her face & kisses her.

"Doesn't matter. I can tire you out", he says suggestively. She bites her lip, wrapping her arms around him.
"So tire me out then", she says.
He rips off her bikini & she follows him to the ladder.

He gets down on his knees as she grabs onto the sides of the ladder. He throws her legs over his shoulders as his tongue enters her. She moans quietly as he continues on for several minutes. When he finally lets her go, he pulls her into the water.

"Wrap your legs around me", he says. She wraps her arms around his neck & her legs around his hip. He grabs ahold of her thighs, moving her up & down. They kiss so softly. Moaning quietly not to wake anyone up.

Minutes later, they both finish just as the sun starts to peak over the horizon. They get out & sit on the lounge chairs. They have a quickie on the lounge chair before heading inside. They start to dry off when there's a knock on the door. Tony goes to open it.

"Dude, seriously?", Rhodey says walking in.
"No, it's fine. Come right in", Tony says sarcastically.
"Morning, Kristina", he says not looking at her.
"Something the matter, Rhodey?", she asks.
Rhodey looks at Tony.

"Next time, can you wait til it's dark out to do that?" Kristina laughs.
"You saw that, huh?", she asks walking over to Tony. Rhodey tries not to make eye contact with her.
"I did, unfortunately."

"Rhodey, you know you can look at me. It's fine. You're not the first guy to see me naked, you know", she laughs. He looks at them both.
"I just wasn't expecting to see that when I got up to watch the sunrise." He walks out without saying another word.

"See? I told you we should've just went back inside but no, Tony Stark doesn't like to listen", she jokes. He grabs her jaw & kisses her.

"That's true. I don't." He pulls her to the bed.
"We have to start packing."
"Ugh this sucks. Can't we abandon our life & live here?", she pouts. He laughs.
"I wish, baby. But we have to go back to the real world now." He kisses her once more & gets up.

She gets off the bed & begins packing. About 30 minutes later, everyone meets in the living room with their luggage.
"Everyone packed & ready to go?", Tony asks.
Everyone says yeah. They all head out to their ferry to take them to the mainland airport. Once they arrive, they head towards Tony's private plane & they all board.

Everyone gets buckled in & soon the plane takes off. Everyone talking & laughing. Tony calls for everyone's attention.
"Thank you all for having this trip unforgettable. I did get you all something & I hope you like it. If not, oh well", he laughs.

He passes around a few boxes & in it is a small photo album. He hands Kristina 2 boxes. One has the photo album, the other is a bracelet that matches her diamond necklace. She opens the bracelet box & is shocked.

"Oh my god. Tony it's beautiful! Thank you", she says showing Genevieve. He kisses her.
"I'm glad you love it, baby." He puts it on her.
"I got you something too but you have to wait for it", she says. He smiles.

"You didn't have to get me anything."
"Likewise", she says kissing his cheek. Everyone hangs out watching a few movies. Hours pass by & Genevieve makes dinner for everyone. They eat & talk. Later, everyone does their own thing. Happy does crossword puzzles, Rhodey plays games on his phone.

Genevieve & Tony answer emails while Kristina catches up on some reading. Later on, they all fall asleep. Several hours later, they finally arrive in Malibu. Everybody's cars are in the private hanger. They all hug & say their goodbyes before they all leave separately.

Kristina kisses Tony.

"Thank you. For everything. The presents, the trip. I love you." He smiles.
"You're welcome. I love you too. See you at work tomorrow, slacker", he says smacking her ass. She playfully shoves him. Genevieve & Kristina drive home.

"Should I get everything ready, boss?", Happy asks. He turns to look at him.
"Yeah. Everything needs to be perfect."
"I never thought I'd see this day that you would..."
Tony interrupts.
"Yeah yeah yeah. Let's go home." Happy chuckles & gets in the car.

Tony & Rhodey get in. Happy drives off & they head to the mansion.
"You really want to do this?", Rhodey asks. Tony looks over at him.
"Yeah I do. Don't talk me out of it either."
"Wasn't gonna. She's good for you."

Tony smiles & looks out the window. Genevieve & Kristina finally arrive home & take their luggage upstairs. Kristina throws herself on her bed. Genevieve checks on her.
"Hey, wanna go over Tony's gift?", she says. Kristina sits up quickly.
"Hell yeah." They run downstairs & begin fixing his gift. When it's finally done, Kristina wraps it.
"He's gonna love it", Genevieve says.

"He better. Thank you, thank you", Kristina says hugging her. Genevieve laughs.
"You're welcome. I want the details when you give it to him." Kristina smiles.
"Well, duh. As if I don't tell you everything."
