Chapter 89

Two weeks later

Kristina & Tony are putting Sophia to bed after her bath. Kristina brushes Sophia's hair, styling it into two French braids. Afterwards, Sophia is in her rubber duckie footie pajamas picking out a bedtime story from the shelf in her bedroom. Sophia picks out Rapunzel & The Princess & the Frog. Sophia rushes over to the bed & Tony covers her up. Kristina begins reading The Princess & the Frog. Sophia snuggles up to Kristina & she wraps her arms around her. Tony snaps a quick photo of them. When the story's over, Tony picks up the Rapunzel book & reads it to Sophia. She snuggles up to Tony then falls asleep when the book is almost finished. Tony & Kristina kiss the top of her head then lay her down gentle enough so she doesn't wake up.
"Goodnight, munchkin. I love you."
"Love you, little miss." Tony sets the books back on the shelf & they quietly leave the room. Kristina walks into their bedroom first & sees her phone light come on from the nightstand. She goes to check it & sees three missed calls from Genevieve. Kristina calls her & puts the phone on speaker.
"What's going on?"
"I don't know. Vieve called me three times.."
"Hello?"
"Hey. Sorry I missed your calls. We were putting Sophia to bed. Is everything ok?"
"Yeah. Sorry about that. I have some exciting news to share!"
"Really? What is it?"
"I'm pregnant! I'm due March 26th."

"Oh my god!"
"Congratulations, Genevieve."
"Thank you, Tony."
"I'm gonna be an auntie!", Kristina replies happily.
"Well, more than that. There's something we wanted to ask you guys", Javier chimes in.
"Of course. What's up?"
"We want you guys to be the baby's godparents."
"We'd be honored", Tony replies. Kristina is excited for them. She tears up a bit.
"Kris, you good?"
"Better than that, girl. I'm so happy for you both."
"Thank you. Well, we're gonna let you go. Gotta call everyone", Genevieve laughs.
"Alright. Have a good night you two. I love you", Kristina says.
"Love you guys too. Goodnight."
"Goodnight", Tony & Kristina reply at the same time. They hang up & Kristina puts the phone back on the nightstand.
"Good for them."
"Yeah, Genevieve is gonna be a great mom." Tony notices how giddy Kristina is so he chuckles.
"What?"

"You look really happy."
"I am. Maria being so busy with S.H.I.E.L.D. I don't know if she'll have children & Vieve is like my sister so now I finally have a niece or nephew. Sophia has a cousin!"
"Coulda sworn she has a ton from your side."
"True. But she doesn't see them enough."
"And who's fault is that?"
"Everyone's. Considering we all work. Smartass." She smacks him with the pillow. He laughs & smacks her with his pillow. Tony looks at the time.
"It's only nine o'clock. What should we do?" Kristina puts on a fake thinking face, tapping her fingertips against her mouth as she repeatedly says, "hmm." Tony chuckles.
"You really need to do all that?"
"Yup", she says nodding. Kristina crawls over to Tony then kisses him.
"You know what I really want?", she whispers in between kisses.
"What?"
"I want..."
"Mm-hmm", Tony says kissing her harder.
"A good night's sleep."
"Well I want that but I also want something else."
"And that is?"
"I want you." Kristina kisses him.
"How bout I put a movie on & you can me eat me out. Sound fair?"
"Sounds good to me as long as you're naked."

"Clothes off. Now", he demands snapping his fingers. Kristina gets up & slowly takes off her clothes. Tony grabs the pillow & throws it at her face.

"Good. That's what I thought. Take those clothes off & get that sexy ass in this bed", he demands sternly. Kristina strips down then gets under the covers.
