Dirty Little Secret

Chapter 75

Seven months later

The Avengers raid Hydra's main research base in Sokovia to find the scepter. They kill everyone at the base except the Maximoff twins, Wanda & Pietro. Wanda manipulates Tony's mind, giving him visions of his dead teammates. Once they find the scepter, it gets taken back to NYC. Tony & Bruce keep hold of the scepter for a couple of days. In celebration of their victory, Tony throws a party for the team.

While the party begins, Ultron takes over Jarvis & a suit of armor is created. Genevieve & Kristina are in the penthouse while the party goes on. They head down with Sophia for a bit. Kristina walks over to Tony, who is talking with Agent Hill, Rhodey & Thor. She slides her hands up his back. Tony turns his head.
"Hey beautiful."
"Hi." They kiss & pull apart quickly.
"Testosterone", Agent Hill says faking coughing.

Tony & Kristina walk over to Sophia who's playing with Genevieve on the couch.
"Need a drink, Viev? I got her", Tony says.
"Thanks Tony." The girls head over to the bar where Natasha is bartending.
"What will it be ladies?"
"Cosmopolitan", Kristina says.
"Make that two", Genevieve replies.
"You got it."

"Evening ladies", Steve says as he leans an elbow on the bar.
"Hey Cap."
"Hi Steve", Kristina says hugging him.
"I see Tony playing with Sophia. Who knew he'd be good with kids?", he jokes.
"Ouch, cap", Genevieve chuckles.
"Kidding. Enjoy your evening."
"You too", they both reply. Steve smiles & walks away. Natasha passes them their drinks.

"Thanks, Nat."
"Of course", she smiles.
"Steve is seriously handsome", Genevieve says.
"Agreed", Kristina replies. The girls finish their drinks & soon they take Sophia upstairs & get her ready for bed.
"Go join the party. I'll watch her."
"Viev, no. It's fine.
"I got her, Kris. I promise. Sometimes you need time to hang out with your husband. I'm serious. Go."
"Fine. I'll go. But text me if anything happens."

"You know I will." Kristina heads downstairs & a little while later, the party dies down to the team, Rhodey, Dr. Cho & Maria. Thor's hammer rests on the table.
"Hey, Thor. How heavy is that hammer?"
"Quite heavy for you simple mortals."
"But it's a trick", Clint says.
"No, no. It's much more than that", Thor replies.
"Ah, whosever be he worthy shall haveth the power. Whatever man, it's a trick", Clint says.

"Please be my guest", Thor gestures to Mjølnir.
"Really?"
"Yeah", Tony replies. Clint gets up.
"Oh, this is going to be beautiful", Rhodey says.
"Clint, you've had a tough week. We won't hold it against you if you can't get it up", Tony adds. Kristina chuckles & playfully shoves Tony. Clint tries to lift the hammer but to no avail.

"All a trick, huh?", Kristina teases.
"I still don't know how you do it", Clint chuckles. Tony stands up, confidently unbuttons his jacket coat & tries to lift the hammer. It doesn't move.
"Be right back", he says. Everyone chuckles. Tony comes back with his hand/forearm piece of his suit & tries it again. Mjølnir won't budge.
"Babe, face it. You're never ruling Asgard", Kristina says.
"First off, rude." Rhodey even assists.
"Are you even pulling?"
"Are you on my team?"

"Just represent. Pull", Rhodey replies.
"Alright. Let's go." Both are trying their hardest to lift it. Again, it won't budge.
"Boys, sit down. You're embarrassing yourself", Maria chuckles. The men sit back down. Bruce tries & can't move it neither. Nobody is amused at his attempt.
"My turn", Steve says standing up.
"Go ahead, Steve. No pressure", Tony says sarcastically.
"Come on, cap", Clint says. Steve manages to move it slightly, shocking the hell out of Thor but doesn't move more than that. Thor is relieved that Steve couldn't lift it.
