Chapter 53

A couple of weeks later, Tony, Kristina, Genevieve & David attend Peter's mother's burial. Tony nudges Kristina. She turns to look at him. He leans in & whispers, "Go comfort him. He's going to need it." She nods & walks over to Peter as the casket is lowered. He pulls her into a hug, holding her tightly as he silently cries. Burying his face in her shoulder. She kisses the top of his head & rubs his back.

"She's gone. She's really gone", he whispers in her embrace.
"I'm so sorry, Peter", she whispers into his ear as her voice cracks. She begins to cry as Peter's older brother, Johnny, comes over to help console them both. Soon, everyone begins to leave the cemetery. Kristina pulls away.

"I'm going to go see my mom. Are you going to be ok?" Peter wipes his eyes.
"Yeah. Go tell her I said hi." He kisses her temple then walks away. Kristina walks up to Tony & takes his hand.
"Come with me." She guides him over to the next section to where her dad is standing, right in the middle of all the headstones.

They stand in front of her mom's headstone.
"Hi, mommy. Look who I brought. Your son-in-law."
"Pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Ruiz." Kristina wraps her arms around her dad & Tony's back, bringing them in closer.

"I wish you were here, my love. Kristina turned into an amazing woman. She's a CEO of a huge corporation & married an incredible man. You would be so proud."
"He's right, mommy. Tony is incredible. He's literally a superhero", she chuckles sniffling.

"I can't even remember the last time I came to see you, mom. I'm sorry."
"She understands", David says.
"I've heard many stories about you. I can't tell you how much she misses you but I can promise that I'll take good care of her. You have my word", Tony says.

They stay for a bit longer.
"Alright, mom. I'm sorry but we gotta get going. But I love you."
"See you soon, my love."
"Goodbye, Mrs. Ruiz." They leave the cemetery & drive to the Scoleri house which is approximately twenty five minutes away from the cemetery. Thankfully it's only a small handful of people who are there.

Peter's & his brothers John & Matteo are setting up drinks in the dining room when Tony, Kristina & David walk in. Genevieve & her ex-friend with benefits/boyfriend, Max Ferragamo are sitting in the living room talking. Max stands up.
"Mr. Ruiz. Good to see you." They hug.
"Good to see you too. How's the family?"

"They're good. My mom just had surgery on her back so my dad stayed with her", he says as they pull apart.
"Tell them I say hello."
"I will. Don't worry." He smiles at Kristina.

"Hey, Kris."
"Hi, Max. Long time." They hug quickly.
"Yeah. You look great. Stopped dyeing your hair I see."
"Yeah. Went natural", she says. He grabs her hand.
"Holy shit. That rock is impressive", he says admiring her engagement ring.
"That was all Tony. He picked it out."

"Tony Stark, good to meet you", he says shaking his hand.
"Good to meet you too."
"Alright everyone. Grab a drink", Matteo says. Everybody gathers in the dining room & picks up a shot glass.

"A toast to our beautiful mother. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. She would've been touched that you all made it", Nick says.
"Having to deal with four boys was definitely not easy for her & we didn't make it better either", John chimes in.

"You always made it look so effortless, mom. You were always our champion. You pushed us to be better, to accomplish anything we set our minds to", Matteo adds.
"We owe who we are to you, ma. Without you, we wouldn't have been able to reach our levels of success. To Marie Scoleri", Peter finishes.

"To Marie", everyone says as they raise their glasses up & down their drinks. David leaves right after to head to work. Tony & Kristina stay for a little while longer. Laughing, talking, telling stories.

"Ooh. Ooh. Tony, did Kristina ever tell you about the time Peter & her got caught by our mom in the attic?", John asks.
"Don't you dare", Kristina says turning bright red.
"Oh my god. I know what you're talking about", Genevieve says laughing.

"So, Kristina & I were studying for a chemistry final one night. Nick & Matteo were with our grandparents. John & mom were working. We decided to take a break & in the attic it's like half storage, half bedroom. Anyway, we went up there, smoked some weed & listened to Jimi Hendrix on vinyl. Voodoo Child came on. She turned it up & started dancing. Swaying her hips, whipping her hair. We had sex but we ended up by the window to the right side of the bed. Not realizing it overlooks the backyard. My mom comes home early, parks in the garage & sees Kristina pressed against the window. Needless to say, she ran up those stairs & smacked me in front of Kris. Our clothes were scattered everywhere so Kristina stood there covering herself with two pillows."

Everyone bursts out laughing.
"Most hilarious part was she didn't necessarily care that we had sex, she was more pissed about seeing me in the window & us smoking weed", Kristina says. She clears her throat.

"Kristina Marietta, I expected more from you. You didn't need to flash my neighbors. You're underage. Do that when you're an adult", Kristina says imitating Marie. Peter & Kristina high five, laughing so hard.
"No way my mom said that", John says.
"She did", Kristina says wiping a tear, holding her stomach.

"Good times, good times", Nick says. Tony looks at the time.
"Time to go", Kristina asks.
"Yeah."
"Oh come on. You really have to go?", Matteo asks.
"Yeah. Unlike you, slacker, I actually work", she jokes.

"I can honestly say I do miss your jokes. They used to be funnier", John says hugging her. They say goodbye to everyone then drive off to airport hangar. When they arrive, they rush into the plane quickly & find their seats.
A few minutes later, the plane takes off.
She leans in & kisses Tony.

"I'm glad you finally got to meet my mom."
"Me too." After a little over an hour later, they arrive at the tower. Tony & Kristina change into pajamas.
"Wanna watch a movie?", Tony asks.
"Yeah." They get in bed & grab the laptop. Tony puts on Scarface as they cuddle up together.

Halfway through the movie, Kristina kisses Tony's neck as her hand travels down his body. He turns his head to her & she kisses him. Her hand slides into his boxers. He groans as she begins to slowly stroke him. He grows hard in her hand. She takes her hand out & repeatedly licks her palm then slides it back in as she keeps her stare on him.

He closes his eyes, his lips parted. She bites his bottom lip softly. His eyes open & he pulls her in for a kiss. She quickly jerks him off, making him flinch forward, moaning into her mouth. Tony pulls his pants & boxers off then rolls on top of Kristina. He moves her panties to the side & pushes into her.

Her hands rest on the back of his head. She tilts her back as she moans. He leans down & kisses her. He rubs his nose against hers as they both moan together.
"I love you so much, Tony."
"I love you too." He grabs her hands & raises her hands above her head.

He kisses up her shoulder to her neck down her chest. Soon, he releases inside of her. Not long after, he rolls off.
They finish up the movie & spend the next couple of hours talking.
