It's a few days passed Kristina's due date. Genevieve decided to treat her to a relaxing girl's day. Genevieve took her to the spa. The girls are treated to massages & facials. Afterwards they go get their nails done & then go to lunch. They get seated a few minutes after arriving.

"How are you feeling, momma to be?" "After all the spoiling, I feel less like a whale & I'm starving", she chuckles.
"Girl, me too. Order whatever you want." "You know I will. My fat ass be hungry." The girls laugh. Their waiter comes over to them & they order. The waiter takes the menus then leaves. "How's Javier?", Kristina asks sipping her water. "He's good. Down in Mexico visiting his mom."
"That's great. How's she doing?" "She's good. Her birthday just passed so that's why he's down there." "That's sweet. How long is he going to be down there?" "A week." "A week in Mexico? I need that", she jokes. "Right. How's everything on the home front?"
"Good. Just waiting for her to hurry up & get here. Tony's been pampering me non stop. Won't let me do much. Waiting on me hand & foot." "Aww. That's so cute." "I know. Like last night. He ran me a bubble bath after dinner. Fed me ice cream. Rubbed my neck, shoulders & feet." "Wait. Did he do all that while you were soaking in the tub?"
"Mm-hmm." "Damn. Maybe I need to get pregnant & make Javier do all that." "Oh shit. Hold up. Is it getting that serious?" Genevieve shrugs. "Might be", she says with a smile. "Oh my god." The girls chit chat more & soon the food arrives. Nearly an hour later, they are done eating, they pay & head over to Genevieve's house.
Once they arrive, they hang out in the living room & talk. A couple of hours later, Javier calls Genevieve & she answers it in another room. Kristina gets up to walk around the house to keep herself busy. She feels a pain hit her. She concentrates on her breathing. Genevieve walks in & rushes over to Kristina.
"Hey, hey, hey. Are you alright?" "I think the contractions started." "Oh shit. What do I do?" "Time them." The pain finally subsides & she can relax. She continues to walk around. "Don't you want to sit down?" "No. Dr. Yang said that walking around can help dilate me more & if these are contractions then I'm have to keep walking."
A few minutes later, another pain hits her. This time stronger. Genevieve times them for the next half hour. "It's every eight minutes." "Get me to the hospital." "Ok let's go." Genevieve & Kristina leave the house. Genevieve calls Tony but there's no answer. After a twenty five minute drive, they pull up in front of the hospital & Genevieve rushes out to grab a nurse.
Kristina suffers through another painful contraction & a nurse helps her out of the car. "How far along are you, miss?" "I'm forty weeks & a few days. Call Dr. Yang for me please. Viev, call Tony again." "I will. I'll park & meet you in there." Genevieve quickly drives off to the parking lot. She parks, calls Tony & rushes inside to the hospital. Again no answer.
