Dirty Little Secret

Chapter 51

A couple of weeks later, Tony & Kristina have officially moved into the newly renamed Avengers Tower. Kristina wakes up in bed. She turns over & cuddles up to Tony's back. He grabs her arm & drapes it over his waist.
"Good morning", she whispers.
"It would've been if you stayed quiet", he jokes.

She chuckles & playfully hits his chest.
"That was rude."
"Yet accurate", he says. She moves her arm away & bites his side. He chuckles.
"Alright, alright." She kisses his cheek then gets up. Tony turns around & yanks her back down on the bed.

She lets out a squeal when she lands on the bed.
"Tony. Let me up."
"Mm-mmm." He holds her close.
"I have to pee." He lets her go & Kristina gets up to go use the bathroom. When she steps out the bathroom, Tony taps the bed. She slides back in under the covers & he kisses her nose.

"I want to take you somewhere special today. You up for it?", Tony asks.
"Yeah. Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise. Get dressed. We'll grab breakfast on the way." Tony gets up quickly & walks over to the closet. Kristina gets up & dresses in a black tank top, red knitted sweater, fleece black leggings & black winter boots.

Tony is dressed in black sweatpants, long sleeved Megadeth shirt. She throws on her coat, scarf & gloves. Tony throws on his coat & shoes. A few minutes later, they ride the elevator down to the lobby.
"So, where are we going?", Kristina asks knowing he won't tell her anyway.

"We'll grab breakfast at Sarabeth's."
"Are you serious? I love that place." He chuckles.
"I know. We'll eat & then head over to the place. Now, stop asking questions because I'm not saying anything more."
"Fine, fine. Keep your secrets. But it better be good." He kisses her. Soon, the doors open & the stroll over to the parking garage.

They get into his Audi R8 & drive over to Sarabeth's restaurant. After sitting in a bit of traffic, they finally make it there a little after 10am. They snatch up a table in the back. They look over the menu & order once the waitress comes back with their drinks.
"Can I at least get a hint as to where exactly we're going?", Kristina asks. Tony looks at her as he sips his coffee.

"Nope."
"Ugh. Why do you torture me?", she jokes.
"I thought you preferred it", he says slyly.
"Touché, Mr. Stark."

"You know I'm always right, Mrs. Stark." She laughs.
"I wouldn't go so far as to say that", she rebuttals.

"I know you wouldn't but I would." He grabs her hand & gazes lovingly into her eyes.
"I love you."
"I love you too, my spitfire."
"I'm still not used to the nickname."
"Why not? It's fitting."
"Oh, please. My temper is not that bad." He raises an eyebrow at her.
"What?"

"I distinctively remember you breaking another woman's nose in my house." She laughs.
"Hold on. She deserved it plus I caught you about to cheat. Be thankful that I didn't break your nose instead", she says taking a sip of her coffee.
"You would never do anything to this face(he gestures with his hand). Considering you like it when it's between those thighs."

She bites her lip & looks away blushing.
"I thought so." She chuckles. Their food arrives & they dig in. Nearly an hour later, they finish, pay then leave. They drive almost to the end of the city when they arrive.
"A cemetery?", Kristina says out loud. Soon, they park & get out. Tony takes her hand & guides her. The crunch of the snow beneath their footwear is heard.

He stops suddenly & stands in front of her.
"I've never brought anyone here with me before. I want you to be the only one." He cups her face in his hands & kisses her passionately before pulling away & guiding her over to an unlabelled mausoleum. He opens the door & lights a few candles. Some of the sunlight spills into the mausoleum, giving it some natural light.

"Kristina. These are my parents. Howard & Maria." Kristina is so touched, she tears up a bit.
"What an honor it is to finally meet you both", she says to their graves. She wipes a tear away.
"I know it's been forever since I've been here but I'm sure you two already know I'm married & I always wanted her to meet you. I wish you were still here. You would adore her the way I do." Tony gives a sad smile as he looks over at Kristina.

She rubs his back to offer her sympathy.
"I've heard many stories of you both. I hope I have proven myself worthy of running Stark Industries as its CEO. It's the family legacy, I understand that. I will do everything in my power to keep it as successful as possible."
"You are worthy enough. You've proved it." He grabs her hand & kisses it.

Kristina gently glides her hand over their engraved names.
"I would have loved the opportunity to have gotten to know you both. You made an incredible son. Handsome, smart, stubborn, romantic & so generous. You two should feel proud of the man he became." She looks at Tony.
"Thank you for bringing me here."
"And thank you. For everything."

"You never have to thank me. I love you."
"I love you too." He softly drags his lips against hers before kissing her passionately. Her slightly cold body warms up under his kiss & touch. They stay a bit longer.

"Mom, dad. It's time for us to go."
"But we'll visit more often. I swear", Kristina says. She places her hand over their names as they say goodbye. Tony & Kristina walk over to the car, holding hands.
"This was unexpected but lovely. Thank you for bringing me here."
"You're welcome, baby. I know they would've loved you."

They get into the car & drive back to the Tower. Kristina holds his hand on the way back.

Once they arrive back at the Tower, they park in the parking garage then take the elevator upstairs. When they step out of the elevator, they walk to the bedroom to hang up their coats.
"Hey, Tony?"
"Yeah?"
"Wanna cuddle up, watch a movie & eat some ice cream?"

"As long as we do it in the bed, I'm game."
"Yes. I'll grab the ice cream." She rushes to the kitchen, grabs the tub of Snickers ice cream & two spoons. Tony sets up the laptop & turns on the fireplace to heat up the room. They get into bed & turn on A Princess Bride.

They get comfy, sitting against the headboard as they watch the movie & feed each other ice cream. Kristina giggles as she watches the movie.
"What?", Kristina asks as Tony eyes her.
"You're perfect." She rolls her eyes as she chuckles.
"I'm far from perfect, babe."

"Not to me." He grabs her face & pulls her in. She feels his breath on her lips as he stares into her eyes. He softly kisses her.
"Thank you for being mine", she whispers.
"Likewise." They kiss once more then watch the movie.
