As month three of Tony's disappearance rolls around, Kristina struggles. Kristina decides to take the day off & is on the couch watching movie. Her phone rings a few minutes later. Caller I.D. says it's Rhodey. She answers quickly. "Rhodey. Hey." "We found him." Kristina's heart skips a beat.
"You found him?!" "Yes. Before you ask, he's alive. We should be home by tomorrow afternoon. He wants to talk to you." Rhodey passes the phone to Tony. "Gorgeous?" "Tony! It's you! Thank god! Baby, I've missed you!" "I missed you too. I can't wait to see your face. We need to talk when I get home."
"Yes, we do. I can't wait to see you", Kristina says crying. "Oh baby, don't cry", he says. "They're happy tears. I swear." "Well, I'm gonna have to let you go. I expect you to shower me in kisses. I need it." "That's no problem. Go. I love you. See you tomorrow." "I love you too. See you soon." They hang up.
"Happy!", she screams. He doesn't answer. "Happy!", she shouts again. He comes in running. "You ok? What's wrong?" "They found Tony. He's coming home tomorrow!" She rushes over to hug him in pure excitement. "I told you he would come home." They pull apart.
"I know. I'm ecstatic", she says as tears well up in her eyes. He wipes her eye as a tear falls. "You want me to get you anything?" "No, I'm good. Thank you though." His phone rings & he walks away to answers it. Kristina texts Genevieve since she knows she's on site for a photoshoot.
"They found Tony. He comes home tomorrow."
She texts Peter also. "Tony comes home tomorrow." He texts back a few minutes later. "That's fucking great! See I told you that he would." "I know! I'm so happy!"
"Does this mean you're going to tell him about...that night?" "I have to." "I understand. If it's any consolation what I can remember about it was pretty amazing." She laughs. "You know it can't happen again." "I know." She puts her phone down & spends the rest of the day preparing for Tony's return. She goes to bed quite early.
The next day, she gets up to shower. She puts on a white pencil skirt & silk purple blouse with white heels. She rushes downstairs & out the front door. Happy drives them to the airstrip. They arrive soon & they see the plane land. Kristina & Happy get out of the car. The door opens & out walks Tony, in a sling, with Rhodey. Kristina rushes over to him & kisses him. She grabs onto his shirt as she deepens her kiss.

They finally pull apart. "I missed you, baby. Are you ok? What happened?" "I'll explain in the car", Tony says. She nods & hugs Rhodey. "Thank you for bringing him home." "Don't thank me. We all knew he would come back. That jerk is too stubborn to die", he smiles. She laughs.
"That's so true." Rhodey takes off while Tony, Happy & Kristina get in. "Hogan, cheeseburgers then work." "Tony.." "Cheeseburgers." Happy drives off. Kristina calls for a press conference.
