Atlas Train bound for Mistral
Dining Car
Sam *Crying* why, why, why,...did he.
Thunk!
She bumps into something metal that sends her to the floor.
She looks up to see what it was.
Manticore: You should really watch where you are going, little girl. *Chuckle*
Sam: *Crying* Oh no...
He reaches down and grabs her by the neck and lifts her up.
Sam: *Choke*
Manticore: Don't worry I need you alive.
He chokes her into near unconsciousness and right at that moment, Raven enters and almost dies of fright when she sees Sam slipping into unconscious and Manticores is holding her by the neck.
She Draws her sword and gets into a fighting stance.
Raven: Let her go!
Manticore: *Scoffs* If you insist.
He drops her to the floor, unconscious, and he steps over her and stares her down.
Manticore: Just go back to your car. This doesn't concern you.
He uses his thrusters to repel himself forward punching Raven knocking her back into the wall but she picks herself back up and uses her advanced sword technique on him, but non dent his animantium frame. In response, he breaks out his flame thrower in his right arm but Raven uses his sword to absorb the flame making it super hot, he then uses it to swipe at him but the cyborg teleports behind him and kicks him in the back thus breaking Qrows spine, causing him to fall to the floor in pain.
Raven: *Ngh* Teleporting that's not fair.
Manticore: Pot and kettle much.
He launches a dozen mini-rocket out of his back missile compartment, but Raven dodges some of them but not all knocking her aura down a good amount, the others hit the kitchen and the dining area causing loud mini-explosions.
Raven: *In Pain* AH!!
*BOOM* CRASH* *BOOOOM*
Cayde hears that from his room several cars down.
Cayde: *Worried* Oh no.
He puts on his helmet and immediately runs to the noise.
Meanwhile
Raven jumps him and lands a quite few good slashes and even manages to avoid some of his attacks, but even with her strength and speed, she could only dent him. So Manticore hits her back multiple times in the chest, knocking the wind out of her and sending her to her hands and knees clenching her chest breathing heavily.
Raven: Not a fast learner are you?
Raven: GAH!
She goes for a leg slice but he stomps on her right hand before she can do so and he crushes her hand, so she can't wield the sword.
Raven: *Pain* AHHHH!!!!!!
He kicks her in the face breaking her nose and knocking her out.
With that done he picks up Mora and Cayde bursts in ready to shoot. But Manticore is quick to react and holds Sam up like a hostage with a wrist gun to her head.
Manticore: Stand down! Or the girl gets a bullet where her head used to be.
Cayde: Your bluffing you need her alive!
Manticore: Perhaps, but better to scuttle the cargo, than lose it. You should know that better than anyone.
Cayde: Please she is just a kid.
Manticore: Have you grown to care for the kid or is guilt for the death of her father that drives your actions?
Cayde: You are treading on some mighty thin ice here.
Manticore: Am I? I wonder how many children's fathers have you killed over your long Career what would you do if you could see how many lives you have destroyed. In a way you are just of a monster as I am are you not?
Cayde: ...
Manticore: Think about it, in the meantime, I think your little bird has clipped a wing.
He blasts a hole in the train and flies away as Cayde tends to the knocked-out Raven.
Cayde: Raven are you alright?
Once he's far enough away Manticore fires a rocket from his chest at the front of the train causing it to explode and the train to start crashing.
Cyade holds Raven to try and shield her as the train is violently thrown off the tracks and crashes into the Mistral Moutain side.
Manticore: *Chuckle*
He flies off to his base with his silver-eyed Prize.
Timeskip
Subteratranian Secret Base
Location Unkown
The lair is filled with tech and research equipment
Manticore: Carries the still unconscious girl to the Man Salem hired to extract her power, an old man who calls himself the Tinkerer.
Tinkerer: Ah Manticore, you brought the subject.
Manticore: How long will this process take my Queen is getting impatient.
Tinkerer: A couple of weeks, if we are to get all of her power.
Manticore: Is that really the earliest I can expect results?
Tinkerer: If you want it done right then yes.
Manticore: *Reluctant* Very well get to work.
A/n: Hey I was up very late editing this so I it may be shorter and contain some more spelling mistakes than normal am so sorry I plan to go and add more and fix grammar mistakes when I am more awake and have the time.
