Tai is sitting on the couch snuggled up with Summer on the couch, watching a sitcom, when they hear a knock at the door.
Tai: *Confused* Are we expecting anyone.
Summer: *Confused* Not that I know of,
Tai: Is it the mail?
Summer: The mailman never comes this early, I'll check it out.
She walks to the door and opens it, and sees nothing, now thinking that it may be a package she looks down, and yes something was there it just was not what she was expecting.
Summer: Honey...
Tai gets up and walks to the door as well.
Tai: What is it Su....oh.
It was a basket holding a tiny baby girl.
Tai: What the fu...
Summer: Shhh!
She bends down and looks at the sleeping baby and notices that there is a note next to the baby, and it read.
I'm sorry, I can't, please take care of my Yang.

Now knowing who this baby belongs to Summer picks up the baby gently and brings her inside.
Summer: Hello little Yang, let's get you out of the cold.

Tai closes the door, and he stands next to Summer who is looking at the adorable baby, who opens her eyes for the first time since she has arrived, and she smiles up at the two giants smiling back down at her with much love and affection in their hearts.

Raven sits alone in her tent holding up her only picture of Yang, taken a few minutes after she was born, she looks at it with tears in her eyes knowing she would not see her grow up, or raise her on her own, and will never meet her real father, or that he died not knowing she existed. A few tears fall on the picture, but she wipes them away puts the picture of her newborn babe next to the one she has of Cayde, as she does not and will never have one of them together.

Qrow sits alone in the abandoned farmhouse, now dilapidated. Qrow just sat there listening to the dust in the wind. Every now and then he would take a drink from his flask, filled with Vacuo Oasis, a drink he always hated, but now he did not drink it for the taste, he drank to remember. Ironic.

Yuri unpacks her box of supplies into her new captains' office. from the box, the first thing she puts on her new desk is a picture of team CYAN, a team which was all dead now, except for her of course, but a team is your family, and when your whole family dies a little bit of you dies along with them, still, that does not erase the good times you had with them, she thinks to herself as she looks back on those memories with fondness as well as sadness.

Sam sits by the fire with her new family, that took her in after Dutch put her in the Atlas orphanage. She still missed her real parents, but she still loved and apricated her new parents who loved her very much. Now she had a fresh start away from Salam and away, from Ozpin. Now she was free to live a normal life, and only one man-made that possible, and she would never forget him, as she held the plush greyhound he gave to her on her travels. Thankful but also regretful since she never got to say goodbye.
