Yuri is flying and Cayde is sleeping in the passenger seat.
Cayde: zzzz
Tired of his snoring Yuir causes some turbulence to wake him up.
Cayde: Uh...what...*Yawn* are we there?
Yuri: No sorry just some turbulence.
Cayde: oh...
He looks around and doesn't see Tai in the cabin.
Cayde: Where's Tai?
Yuri: He is in the back looking out the side window.
Cayde: Heh, yeah, that sounds like him.
Yuri: Maybe you should go talk to him.
Cayde: *Sigh* I suppose it's time I got around to it.
He hets up and leaves the cockpit and takes the few steps from the door to the walkway to the door of the cabin and enters the cabin, and sure enough, he sees Tai looking out the window onto the sandy landscapes of Caydes homeland.
Cayde takes his helmet off
Cayde: Hey.
He turns to him and smiles.
Tai: Hey buddy.
Cayde sits next to him.
Cayde: I never thought we would be going on a mission like this again.
Tai: Yeah, when was the last time we hung out like this?
Cayde: It was Junior year I think.
Tai: Oh that's right back when we had to go and clear out a Grimm infestation in East city.
Cayde: Yeah that's where Nick got us tickets to that horrible talent show, do you remember that magician and his disappearing man act, his double didn't even have the same hair color.
Tai: He was also drunk off his ass.
Cayde: Though I do think Qrow liked the sword swallower lady, he wanted to ask her out, but he was so scared of girls back then.
Tai: Heh, but then he found his little liquid courage.
They were both dancing around the subject they needed to discuss, but after a bit of mental contemplation, Tai was the first one to speak.
Tai: Look, about what happened, that day, I never wanted to hurt you, we shouldn't have drunk so much, we should have been, I should have been...
Cayde: Look Tai, I already went over this with Raven, what you two did was, well it was shitty but I was not right in the head at the time, I should have responded more rationally, and I am so sorry.
Tai: Oh the punches were no big deal, you never were a good puncher, I got hit harder in training practice.
They both can't help but laugh at Tai's attempt to lighten the serious mood.
Tai: But in all seriousness man. I miss you man, I want my friend back in my life.
Cayde: I miss you to man.
Tai: I am going to ask Summer to marry me.
Cayde: Oh, got bored of the bachelor lifestyle Tai?
Tai: *Laughs* Well what can I say she is the one, and I want you to be my best man.
