Although her motives for attacking Vale General Hospital remain unknown, thankfully her destruction was short-lived as she was stopped by Vale's newest crime-stopper the Spider-Man.

Yang: Wow, he did that all by himself.
Ruby: Yang why are we watching the local news it's soooo boring, I can read about it tomorrow, and skip all the boring talky stuff.
Yang: Boring come on Ruby they are talking about Spider-Man, a real live superhero, moments like these come once in a lifetime.
Ruby: Do you just want to watch because you have a massive crush on him?
Tai enters holding a bag of groceries.
Tai: Hey I'm back.
Ruby and Yang are too invested in their conversation to notice that he is there.
Yang: *Flustered* W-what n...no I don't anyway be quiet your making miss the broadcast.
Ruby: Whatever ever it's just going to be boring old...
The newscast shows footage of Spider-Man taking down Shriek, and that suddenly made Ruby very interested.
T.V. Reporter: We haven't seen any hunters like Spider-Man since the Avengers disbanded ten years ago. With a new costumed crime-fighter showing up does this signal a new age of heroes only time will tell...
*Click*
The TV switches off.
Yang: Hey we were watching that.
Ruby: Mainly her but, still you cant just turn it off.
Tai: First yes I can since its my tv because I paid for it.
Ruby/Yang: Grumble
Tai: Second since when do you two watch the news and third, have you two painted the fence, which I asked you to do so before I got back with the groceries?
Ruby and Yang look at each other like they just got caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar.
Ruby: Yeeeeeesss?
Tai: Oh really so if I go out to the garden am I going to see a freshly painted fence?
Yang: Weeeeelll fresh is completely subjective soooo....
Tai: Go and paint the fence.
Yang/Ruby: *Whine*
While they go and put their painting overalls on, Tai unpacks and puts away the groceries, except for two bottles of Vacuo Oasis. Which he holds by tops by his fingers.
Ruby and Yang walk down wearing overalls.
Tai: I expect that fence to be freshly painted when I get back.
Ruby: Get back, but you just got back, where are you going?
Tai: I...I'm going to see an old friend.
Yang rolls her eyes.
Yang: *Sigh* Whatever Dad, come on Ruby let's get this over with as fast as possible.
She drags Ruby outside to where the fence is as Tai just smiles grabs a lawn chair, and leaves.
Tai walks from his house all the way to a hilltop where his best friend is berried.
Cayde Solo, the fastest gun in the west
Tai: Hey buddy, long time no see.
He puts his lawn chair down across from the tombstone where he sees an empty Vacuo Oasis bottle hidden in the grass right in front of his brother's gravestone. Tai picks it up.
Tai: I see you finished your drink from last time eh?
He opens a brand new bottle and places it on Cayde's Gravestone, then he opens another bottle takes a sip, and sits down on the chair.
Tai: Ah...Hey, remember when I told you drink shit beer? Well, I got to admit this brand is starting to grow on me.
He takes a drink.
Tai: Yang just applied for Beacon, yesterday, she is all stressed about it, but I know she will get in. She is a lot like you, after all, she gets stronger and smarter every day, if you could see her you would be so proud of her.
He takes another drink.
Tai: I...I...uh still have not told her about you yet, Summer and I were going to tell her when she got older, so she would better understand, but then Summer...well. Then Qrow told her about Raven, and...hearing that Summer was not her birth mother and that her birth mother left her, It destroyed her, and I'm sorry but I can't do that to her again, not when she is finally starting to give up that search for Raven and live her adult life.
The wind starts to blow.
Tai: She may hate me for keeping her true origins away from her for so long, but I hope she'll realize I never intended to hurt her.
Tai: I know you would do the same in my position, or at least that's what I tell myself to make myself sleep better at night.
Tai: I do wish you could see her, you would have made a great father.
He stares at the grave intently.
Tai: Not a day goes by where I don't think about you, I miss you Cayde.
He finishes his drink, gets up, and folds the lawn chair up.
Tai: Well I better go and make sure the girls are actually doing their chores, you know how they can get.
He pats the headstone as if he was patting someone on the shoulder.
Tai: Enjoy the beer man.
Tai walks back down the grassy valley, as the wind picks up, and it knocks the Vacuo Oasis onto the grass and dirt above here Cayde is berried, now the bottle, it was if someone wanted a drink.
