The Coal Furnace Pub was a popular pub in Atlas that was always busy, and today is no exception the bar was full of life and music.
However, when Cayde entered everyone stopped what they were doing to look at him. With his armor and helmet on, they couldn't tell what he was initially thinking but everyone knew he would bring trouble.
The silence did not deter Cayde as he walked to the BarTender, a middle-aged man wearing glasses.
BarTender: What can I do for you, Sir?
Gunslinger: Vacuo Oasis, leave the bottle.
The Bartender does as he is asked and gives him a shot glass and one bottle of Vacuo Oasis.
Bartender: Anything else I can do for you, sir?
Gunslinger: I'm looking for a man by the name of Kyle Gravley. Sound Familiar?
The other patrons slowly get up from their seats as they hear that name.
Bartender: I...I can't say that it does.
Gunslinger: *Leans in* Are you sure about that?
Cayde could tell that the bartender was now shacking due to the glass he was holding.
Bartender: Y..yep.
As he looks at him, Cayde sees the reflection in his glasses and sees a guy pulling a gun behind him.
Cayde reacts quickly by grabbing the bottle of Vacuo Oasis and throws it at him
Thug 1: AHHHH, *Blindly shoots around through the ceiling*
Cayde uses this opportunity to pull out his revolver and shoots him in the head.
As he falls to the floor another thug runs up to him with a machete, but Cayde punches him in the throat causing him to drop the machete, but Cayde catches it in midair and stabs him in the throat with it. Then four others try to rush him at the same time put he unloads one round in each of them killing them. Realizing that he only has one bullet left goes to reload, but is stopped when someone gets out of cover behind a table with an assault rifle and starts shooting.
This caused Cayde to quickly leap out of the way and turning another table into makeshift cover and pulls out his Dusty Sparrow rifle and scans the room and sees a decorative metal license plate, so the fires at the license plate and the bullet ricochet off the plate and hits the guy right between the eyes. He then reloads his Six Shot Justice revolver with incendiary rounds as more people close in on him on of them being Kyle Gravely.
Kyle: What do you want from me.
Gunslinger: You owe money to the wrong person Gravely, I am just here that you're there to pay up.
Kyle: I am working on it I just need more time.
Gunslinger: If he wanted to give you more time he would not have sent me, and hiding out in an Atlas Bar was not doing you any favors.
Kyle: Please man have a heart, what would you if you were in my position.
Gunslinger: I wouldn't be in your position because I always finish a mission.
He then Pokes out of cover and shoots the gun out of Kyle's hands-off causing him to cower behind cover.
Kyle: *Scared* Ahh Kill him!
This causes his friends to start shooting at him, but Cayde grabs a dead body and uses it as a human shield, and shoots five incendiary rounds into five different chests killing them instantly, leaving only three thugs left. So he charges at them with the body he was using to knock one of them against the wall knocking him out and takes another thugs head and slams it into the bar, and the last one standing tries to swipe at him with a knife but he grabs the hand he held the knife in and breaks it grabs the knife and stabs him multiple times until he is sure he is dead, covering himself in blood in the prosses. Once everyone else in the place was out cold or dead he walks over to Kyle who has nothing left to defend himself with so he just puts up his hands which are shaking in fear.
Kyle: *Scared Please* D-Don't do this? I have got a family.
Cayde pulls out his revolver pulls the hammer back and points it to Gravely's head.
Gunslinger: You are coming with me quietly and either you are going to do so right now or I can just shut you up forever.
Kyle: *Scared* W-We can work something out...I...
Gunslinger: I don't Have time for this.
*BANG*
He fires a bullet into his head, killing him.
He then pulls out a knife and cuts off some fingers as proof of termination, after he is finished he goes back to the bar to find the Bartender quivering in fear.
Gunslinger: Hey can I get another bottle of Vacuo Oasis?
With shaking hands he grabs the bottle and offers it to him.
Bartender: O...on the....house...sir.
Gunslinger: *Takes bottle* Thanks and sorry for the mess.
Bartender: N...no problem
Cayde then takes the bottle and his bounty to his stolen Atlas Cargo Transporter outside and flies back to Vacuo to collect his bounty.
