Cayde parked the Black Bird about thirty feet from the house and he and Raven walk over to it carrying a weak Qrow how has an arm over both of their shoulder leaning on both of them.
Qrow: *Weak* Heh I wondered I would see that shinny helmet again.
Cayde: It has lost some of its shine over the years, but it still works well.
Qrow: *Weak* You still drink that crappy brew, or have you gained some real taste in the past five years.
Cayde: Vacuo Oasis is better than anything that you drink from that disgusting flask of yours.
Qrow: Heh, nice to see you still haven't completly lost your sense of humor.
As they approach the House, Summer, and Tai exit the house, and run over two the battered trio, summer is the first to reach them.
Summer: Oh you brought him back, is he OK!?
Cayde: He is beaten but not dead.
Tai: We should get him inside.
Cayde and Tai stare at each other for a minute before they continue to walk back to the house.
Tai: Cayde.
Cayde: Tai.
And that is all they said to each other as they walked back to the house.
Small Timeskip
Everyone is inside, incase Qrow needs some medical attention. But Cayde is outside contemplating whether to leave or not when the front door opens.
Tai: I hope you're not leaving just net.
He turns to see Tai holding a can of Vacuo Oasis and is offering Cayde.
Cayde: ...
Tai: Come on for old times' sake.
He takes his helmet off and accepts the beer.
Cayde: Thanks.
They both lean against the walls of the house taking the occasional sip.
Cayde: I heard that you and Summer got together.
Tai: Yep.
Cayde: So...how's that going.
Tai: Really good, I really love her.
Cayde: Good.
Tai: That's, uh, thats a nice ship.
Cayde: Thanks.
Tai: *Sip*
Cayde: *Sip*
Tai: This place reminds me a bit of the emerald forest.
Cayde: Heh, yeah I guess it does.
Tai: Life was so much simpler back then.
Cayde: Simple yes, easy no.
