CHAPTER 12

JENNIE'S POV

After we visited my doctor we went straight home. I entered our house then I saw my dad in the living room. He is in deep thoughts so I went to him and greeted him and kiss his cheek. "Hi dad! What are you thinking?" He blinked twice before answering my question.

"I'm actually thinking where's your boyfriend at. Isn't he suppose to come with you every check-ups and everything related to your child? But where is he?" He ask calmly but I know that he is very upset.

I don't know what to tell dad. If I tell my dad that Taehyung is busy reaching his dreams he will be very upset with him. "He actually c-came with me dad. He came last minute." I smile to assure him that I'm not lying but it looks like he's not believing it.

"I'm not buying it Jennie. I want to see him tomorrow for dinner. Invite him here and we will have a small talk." He said authoritatively before walking away.

I didn't believe my dad when he said "small talk" because it will be very long talk. Because when it comes to me dad is very protective. He doesn't want me to get hurt to the point that he will sacrifice his life just to protect me and sometimes I don't like it. I want him to live his life to the fullest especially now that he is not getting any younger. I want him to enjoy his life with my mom and don't worry about me because I can take care of myself now. I'm no longer a baby who need parental guidance all the time but if I need any, I'm the one who will come to them.

I head up to my room to take a bath. After taking a bath I dried my hair and sit on my bed. I called Taehyung on my phone but after too many rings he won't pick up. I called him many times but he won't really pick up so I just left him a text message.

Come here at our house tomorrow for dinner. Dad wants to talk to you.

I was about to sleep but my phone rang. I look at the caller and its Taehyung so I answered it.

"Hey, you know I can't go there. I'm too busy here and you know that." He said to me.

"I don't care if you're busy or what. If you can't come tomorrow I don't care either. But remember that you can't come near me and my daughter anymore." I said then drop the call. I turned off my phone so he won't be able to disturb me while I'm sleeping.

Taehyung's POV

We've been training since yesterday and I'm so exhausted. I came to the locker room to check if someone messaged or called me. I saw Jennie called many times and left a message.

Come here at our house tomorrow for dinner. Dad wants to talk to you.

I called her immediately and she answered it. "Hey, you know I can't go there. I'm too busy here and you know that." I said to her.

"I don't care if you're busy or what. If you can't come tomorrow I don't care either. But remember that you can't come near me and my daughter anymore." She said then drop the call without waiting for my response.

I tried to call her again but it seems that she turned off her phone. I have no choice but to come tomorrow evening. My schedule is so tight and I'm so busy all the time. I don't even have time to sleep. I sleep for only 3 hours then when I woke up it's time to practice again, but I don't care I have to debut!

Jennie's POV

The maids and my mom are currently preparing for tonight's dinner. I haven't received any calls and messages from Taehyung, but if he can't come tonight he's doomed.
