The wind tousles my hair on a cold fall day.
It's about midday this lazy Saturday.
My friend and I have found quite the place to stay.
Leaning on a balcony with a blue-jay.
Daydreams momentarily take me away,
And I wander down a truly strange pathway.
Imagination often leads me astray,
But it's time for fantasies to slip away.
This doesn't confuse me today, for I must say,
I associate balconies with a play.
Juliet exchanged vows on such a display.
