Our relationship is one I'll always flaunt.
When things get serious, you're my confidant.
Neither of us reaches out often these days.
I don't know much of your current views and ways.
My knowledge of the world isn't vast, I admit.
But I'll understand words and respond with wit.
If there are concepts, I do not understand,
You'll find references I can carry in hand.
If I wanted salmon, you'd teach me to fish.
Afterward, we may dine out for the same dish.
