I sat with the Cullens this time since I wouldn't be able to deal with Jessica's drama. I read through my book as the table was silent. I felt something hit my forehead and I glanced down at my lap to see a grape. I looked up to Emmett as I popped the grape in my mouth.
"Not nice, monkey man." I went back to my book but the grapes kept coming.
"Throw one more grape at me and I'll shove the rest down your throat and make sure you don't throw it up." Emmett held his hands up in defence as I flipped my page.
"Puppy has a little bite to her."
"I've got more than a little bite." I jokingly growled and snapped my teeth at him.
"Down girl, down." I turned to Jasper as his Texan accent slipped into my ears causing me to blush, something I wished I was incapable of like other vampires.
"Jasper, don't tease the poor girl." Alice slapped his arm as I looked back to my book and tried to focus on the words printed.
"She's in love~" I glared up to Emmett, this time not jokingly, as I felt betrayed.
Even if Jasper thought it was a joke, that information is meant to come out of my mouth and only mine. I stood up and grabbed my bag off the floor before rushing out of the cafeteria. I didn't care if I was causing a scene, so much had happened already that I wasn't ready for another thing to embarrass me.
"Alexandra, wait!" I tried to ignore Jasper till I made it to the parking lot.
"What!? If you're here just to tell me that I'm being over dramatic over a joke than you're wasting your time because I already know I am." Jasper and I stood maybe an average cars length away from each other.
"It wasn't a joke to you though, was it?" I felt like was in some cliché scene from a romantic movie.
"If I told you it wasn't than are you going to tell me that you're in love with Alice, because it's pretty obvious?" Jasper stood quiet for a moment before I felt my heart stop.
"No, I don't love Alice the way I do you. She keeps me in check when I'm having issues with the emotions of everyone else and the smell of blood. I know that you imprinted on me the day we found you hunting when you were 14."
"Then why didn't you say anything?" I barely know about imprinting but Sam briefly explained it to me enough where I knew I had imprinted on Jasper.
"Because I'm 160, you're 16, I needed you to be ready before I did anything so I was waiting for you to tell me."
"So you waited on the nervous reck of a... a thing, to tell you that I love you like a cringy school girl?" I rubbed my hands against my jeans in a desperate attempt to stop myself from sweating as Jasper got closer.
"You're not a thing, you're Alexandra Hill. The girl that I love despite all odds, and that I want to be with till the end of time. So what do you say, forever?"
"Jasper, I don't know if I'm gonna live forever." It's true, you don't come across a werewolf vampire mix-breed to ask all these questions to.
"Than till your forever ends." Jasper held my face well his thumb swiped over my cheekbones.
"Fine, but you have to promise to take it slow and you can't leave me. At least not without messaging and calling, or even an email once and a while. You can't disappear like my dad did, okay?" Jasper nodded and pushed my collar length curls back and kissed my forehead.
"Is that kind of affection okay for you?" I nodded and leaned into Jaspers body as I held onto his wrists.
