"Come on, you can't tell me that you're not at least a little angry."

"Bella, Alice can help Jasper in situations I can't." I worked my jeans up my slightly large thighs before buttoning them and pulling on my baseball jersey.

"But she was all over him."

"Look, I'm not stepping into the fundamentals of your relationship with Edward, so step out of mine. Please, before this conversation ends worse than it already is." I grabbed my baseball cap with the Texas flag sown into the front, Jasper had gotten it for me as a gift, and left my room.

"I'm not trying to step into your relationship, I'm just worried that maybe Alice is getting a little too close."

"Jasper and I are mates, we are literally meant for each other. Jasper and Alice aren't more than family, and Jasper isn't going to leave me for her. I don't want to hear anymore about your opinions on my relationship, especially at the game." I hung up on Bella before she could get another word in, she definitely wasn't acting like herself.

Billy was at the Clearwaters and Jacob was in the garage hanging out with Quil and Embry. I grabbed my helmet and keys before I went to the garage.

"Hey, girly." Jacob looked up from the pizza I bought the boys as Embry and Quil laughed at his nickname.

"I'm heading out for a while. My phones on if you need to get a hold of me, and please watch out for the storm." He nodded and I pushed myself off the doorframe.

"Will do, sis." I got onto my bike and headed out towards the Cullens.

When I got there it was clear I wasn't in the best mood and Jasper tried to use his gift on me but it didn't wash away the doubt. Even the cupcakes that Esme made me weren't making it better. Eventually, Jasper pulled me aside.

"What's the matter, you're all glum and I can't seem to fix it." He pushed my hair back as I watched him with furrowed brows as I tried to guess what was going on in his head, I'm not Edward though.

"Bella's just been on me about the other day."

"What'd she say that's got you like this?" I didn't want to answer so I tried to distract him with affection as I dug my face into his chest and hugged him.

"Nothing."

"Clearly it's not nothing. I want to help you, but I can't do that unless you tell me." I sighed as I looked up at him with my chin against his chest and I puffed my cheeks.

"Bella said that she thinks, and I quote, that Alice might be getting a little too close. Pretty much she's implying that by Alice helping you calm down in ways I can't, is Alice's way to try and steal you away from me." Jasper chuckled before leaning down and kissing my forehead.

"And you told her to leave it be, right?"

"One way one or another, and definitely in a ruder way." I gave Jasper a tight lip smile that I could only explain as the white person smile.

"That's my girl." Jasper kissed my forehead one more time before we made our way back to the group.

"Do you think I can get another one of those cupcakes?" Emmett smiled as he slid a cupcake across the counter to me as Esme slapped his arm.

Esme had cut me off of the vanilla cupcakes after I ate about 7 or 8.

"Just make sure you give us some loud bangs." I gave Emmett a thumbs up as I sank my teeth into the cupcake.
