Daydream // A Karlnapity Story

3 - Again?

I've decided to continue the rest of this story in third person, helps me write better for you guys :))

This chapter depicts drowning and talks about it. It also has some light panicking.

Karl opened his eyes to see he was staring out to sea. Again.

Looking around he saw he was wearing the same thing and sitting on the same towel as last time. He looked to see the two boys running towards him.

This time they had faces.

He could help but let a smile grow on his face as he stared up at the boys, taking the smaller's hand to help him up.

His heart beat in his chest happily as he was pulled by his fiancés to the water. Not remembering what happened the last time.

Once they got into the water they laughed and playfought, but this time his fiancés are the ones to stop.

"Guys?"

"Karl.. why are you crying?"

"What?"

Karl feels his face to feel tears coming out of his eyes uncontrollably. He then looks at his lovers and tries to reach out for them. But it happens again.

He gets pulled under the water by an unknown force, hearing his name being screamed as he gets dragged under the water.

Again, he tries to struggle but succumbs to the force and he closes his eyes.

Karl gasps as his eyes shoot open. Sitting up quickly he looks around his room, holding onto his chest as he tries to control his breathing.

It takes him a few minutes but he finally calms down, touching his face to feel fresh tears down his face. Why was he crying?

He quickly wipes away his tears, sniffling as he tries his best to clean himself up in the moment. Once he's done he looks out his window, noticing how dark it is outside.

He looks over and checks his clock. 4:56 am. He sighs as he reaches over to grab his phone, noticing it's on the floor.

He reaches down and grabs it, noticing a missed message from Quackity.

Quackity - sent at 4:27 am
Hey, you up?

Sent at 4:57 am Karl Jacobs
Yeah I just woke up, what's up?

Quackity
Oh cool I just needed company, had a nightmare

Karl Jacobs
Awe no I'm sorry dude :( wanna talk about it?

Quackity
Eh it's just a stupid nightmare I'm good. It was just me drowning and it shook me up. I'm all good now tho :]

Karl Jacobs
Awe no that sucks dude! But that's weird cause I've also had that dream? This is the second night in a row that I've had it!

Quackity
Woah that's crazy! You think they're linked somehow?

Karl Jacobs
Maybe?? That would be kinda cool lol!

Quackity
Hell yeah! But uh I'm gonna try to go but to bed, sappy is complaining I'm not in bed anymore LOL but goodnight karlos :]

Karl smiles down at his phone as he turns it off. He's glad Q was up to help calm his nerves as he relaxes onto his bed.

Now laying down he sighs as he smiles up at his ceiling. He doesn't know why but Quackity makes him to happy to talk to.

Karl makes sure to put his phone on his charger as he has work again later. Then he gets comfortable in his bed and finally drifts off to sleep.

His eyes open and he finds himself in an open field. The winds flow against his face softly as he is surrounded by nothing but grass and small flowers.

He slowly stands up, walking over and picking up one of the flowers. It was the same orange as the gem on his ring. It reminds him of the taller one of the two, as he is reminded of his brown yet lovely eyes. He smiles at it and tucks it into his fluffy brown hair.

He then spots another one, picking it up and holding it gently. This one was the same blue from his other gem. It reminds him of the smaller man as it's bright blue hue makes him think if his beautiful sea blue eyes. He giggles as he also places it in his hair next to the orange one.

He takes a look around as he notices how quiet and peaceful it is. It's nice but.. he wishes those two guys were here though.

Even though he barely knows them he knows them he has a feeling that they mean more than just characters in his dreams. Especially since they are real people.

He decides to sit back onto the ground, laying back onto the grass and breathing softly.

It doesn't take long before he closes his eyes and slowly falls back asleep, even if he is in a dream..
