18 - That's you?

He takes off his apron and puts it up on a hook with his name on it. He sighs softly as he then heads out to the backroom to get something to eat.

But he is soon stopped when he hears his friend call out his name.

"Karl! Those two guys are out here wanting to see you!"

He instantly perks up and rushes over to where Niki was, thanking her softly before walking into the main room and spotting the two people he fell in love with.

"Hey guys!!"

He waves his hand at them as he comes out from behind the counter. The two wave back to him with smiles.

"Hey Karl! Alex said you'd be on break, if that's so wanna grab a late lunch with us?"

"I'd love to!"

Karl replies to Nick with a bright smile, which the two boys respond with bright smiles back. But then Karl notices that Alex's eyes look a bit red.

He frowns a bit as he walks over to him and gently cups his face in both of his hands, resting his forehead against the smaller's as their lips a inches apart at this point.

"Are you okay..?"

He gently whispers to him so that only he can hear. Alex's face flushes a bright red as he processes what is going on in this moment. He's never been this close to Karl's face before and wow are his green eyes beautiful.

"Y-yeah.."

"Cool.. just making sure."

He then pulls away and plants a small kiss on his temple. Making Alex blush even more. Nick jokingly complains about not getting a kiss when he's interrupted by Karl kissing his cheek.

"There! So needy!"

Karl smiles at Nick with the joke, making Nick blush and smile back. Karl then grabs both of their hands and heads out of the ice cream shop.

They decide to go to a small cafe down the street from the ice cream shop. Not a far walk as it's only a few shops away.

They live in a pretty small town, so everything is close together and convenient! Karl loves it.

They walk into the cafe and unlink their hands once they're seated, Alex quickly sitting with Karl before Nick could get there first.

"Not fair!"

The youngest crosses his arms as he sits down in front of the other two in the booth, jokingly pouting.

"Aweee cheer up, I'll sit next to you on our next date."

Karl smiles at him which makes Nick smile, Alex smiles as well as he realizes that Karl wants to go on a date with them again.

Wait...does that mean-

Alex's thoughts are interrupted by a waitress that walks up to their booth and sets down some menus.
