15 - Pleasent Morning

He groaned softly as he is rudely awoken by the sun peeking in between the curtains right into his eyes.

He goes to stretch out but stops when he feels another weight shift on top of him. He slowly opens his eyes to reveal that he's not in his own home, he slightly panics before realizing the person on top of him is none other than Alex.

This calms him down as he slowly lowers his arms, admiring the boy. He looks so pretty when he's asleep like this. He never thought they would be this close, but here they are!

The boy on top of him shifts, making him smile as he reaches down to gently mess with his dark raven hair. Taking notice how calm he looks as he smiles softly in his wakening.

The smaller's eyes flutter open looking up at the one underneath him. Speaking as he yawns softly.

"Morning Pan- what the!?"

The startled one sits up quickly, rubbing his eyes as he stares at Karl who just giggles. He's pretty amused by this.

"Good morning! Have a good rest?"

He smiles at the other as he waits for an answer, but only gets a confused noise as he blushes madly. He seems very confused and flustered!

"W-where's Nick??"

"In here!"

The youngest of the three calls from the kitchen, entering the living room with three mugs of coffee. He goes back only to return with sugar and creamer.

"Sorry I didn't know what to put in your coffee, so I brought it over."

He chuckles warmly as he sits on a chair beside the couch, sipping on his mug. Karl smiles and thanks him, adjusting himself to sit up. Alex is still straddling him so when he feels him move he quickly gets off and apologizes, embarrassingly grabbing his cup and adding Carmel flavored creamer into his.

Karl takes a mental note of that as he giggles and tells him it's alright, pouring a copious amount of sugar into his cup. He's a sweets kind of guy!

A silence falls in between the three as Alex calms down and Karl gains his energy for the day. Nick relaxes into the chair, sighing softly as he notices his boyfriend staring at him. He stares back, mentally communicating with him.

He then smiles, nodding for him to ahead and do something. Alex blushes and glances at Karl who seems to be looking around for something.

He lost his phone! It's not like this is the first time, but he legitimately cannot remember where he last saw or had it. As Alex goes to talk Karl cuts him off accidentally.

"Oh-sorry Uhm. Have you guys seen my phone? I need to check the time cause I have work."

"Oh, it's 10 am. And I haven't seen your phone."

Nick answers as he places down his mug to get up and help him look for it. Meanwhile Alex keeps his seating, awkwardly sipping on his drink. He really wanted to ask him something.

"Shit, what day is it? Thursday? Damnit it's my early shift day- I gotta get going!"

"Wait, I can drive you. Do you need to go home first?"

"Yes, thank you Nick."

He smiles at the shorter as he nods, saying it's not a problem. Karl appreciates that. As he gets ready he can hear Alex and Nick talk quietly.

"Do you wanna come with?"

"..n..no I'm good."

"You sure?"

"Yeah.. I'm.. gonna go get a shower."

Alex then sets his mug down and tries to walk towards the bathroom quickly, seeming to be in a rush. But Karl quickly grabs him.

"Wait!"

Alex stops and slowly turns towards the taller male who now had energy for the day. He softens to his touch as he looks at his adorable dopey smile.

"Bye! Hope to see you later!"

He gives him a heartfelt hug that warmed Alex up right away. He couldn't help but melt into his touch and hug him back.

Karl takes this opportunity and pulls away, gently yet quickly kisses Alex's temple. Smiling brightly as he pulls away, quickly tying his shoes before running over to Nick and grabbing a hold of his hand to tug him out the door. Leaving the shorter stunned.

Karl wishes he could've stayed to see his red adorable face a little longer.
