7 - Date Plans

  He was grinning ear to ear as he stared at their texts, walking down the sidewalk to his work. He couldn't believe it, he's actually gonna meet and talk to a guy that wants to date him!

Don't get him wrong, he's dated before but none of them have been like this moment. But wait, this isn't considered a date... right?

They're just gonna be hanging out and talking! That's it! ..right?

His thoughts get interrupted as he walks into his work, yelling immediately being heard. But he knows it's not genuine.

Luckily it was a weekend and the three loud teenagers weren't skipping, like they were known for doing.

None of them really like school, especially the British kids as America has a whole different system. They actually seem to be complaining about that now in fact.

"Why do they have to make us get up so damn early!?"

Ranboo shrugs at Tommy's complaining, Tubbo meanwhile on his phone leaning against Ranboo. They are all pretty close friends and Karl thinks that's pretty cool to see.

Karl giggles at their bickering as he moves away, getting ready for the work day to start.

The day went by slow at first but then quickly sped up when it became a bit busy. Karl not even noticing his break had started until he saw him. The boy from his dream.

He smiles wide as he sees him, quickly taking off his apron before coming out to see Alex.

He walks over to the table Alex is sitting at, waving to him as he looks up from his phone.

"Hey!"

"Hi!"

Karl sits down in the booth across from him, fidgeting with his hands as he watches Alex smile, making him blush.

"How are you?"

"I'm pretty good, you?"

"Same!"

Alex lets out a happy chuckle which makes Karl relax, he didn't even realized he tensed up. He's not quite sure why he's so anxious at the moment.

"Well you kind of know me, I'm Alex! And you're Karl! I would've invited Nick but he was busy with stuff today."

Karl nods along as he listens, thinking about the other man he mentioned. Nick... that's his name. Fits him for such a good looking guy.

Wait what-

"Sooo do you have anything planned today?"

"Uhhh after work I was just gonna go home and relax! It's what I usually do."

Karl lets out a nervous chuckle as Alex smiles and nods at him.

"Well okay! Can I ask when you have days off?"

"Mhm! I have mondays and tuesdays off!"
