11 - Different Flowers

Once Karl got home he immediately crashed into his bed, smiling like a doofus as he stares up at his ceiling. He can't believe he kissed BOTH of their heads!

He giggles happily to himself before getting back up and heading over to his closet, getting more comfy clothes on before before brushing his teeth.

After he gets ready for bed he lands onto his bed, immediately reaching for his phone and texting the two boys goodnight. It takes a bit but the do respond.

Even the simple goodnights make his stomach flutter and his face go a bright red. He most definitely likes them. He just hopes they like him back.

Karl is still very excited and needs to get his thoughts out so he goes over to Twitter to post about it. He tweets about the two boys and how he wants to be with them, not giving out their names in case they are on here.

Having a lot a mutuals, they respond to him saying congrats and good lucks. Quackity's reply sticking out to him.

'Just @ me next time babe ;] /j'

The reply sends a shiver down his spine as he leaves a like on it. He doesn't know why but that feels oddly right... even though it's not.

He shakes his head as he gets a message from none other than Q himself.

Karl stares at his message for a second, getting a sense of déjà vu with him and Alex's messages. It has to be a coincidence.

He sighs softly and shuts off his phone, now laying in his bed thinking about the boys.

It is weird though how after Karl started texting Alex he's noticed that him and Q type and use the same emotes.. it's strange.

But they're two different people... right?

Karl opens his eyes to see he's in the same field as he was the other night. That's weird since he doesn't remember closing his eyes.

He gets up and dusts himself off, beginning to walk around. He spots the same flowers from the last time, doing the same thing and putting one of each in his hair.

But soon he gets startled by a voice.

"Karl?"

He quickly turns around to see Nick. Two different colored flowers in his hand. One the same blue as Karl and a purple one.

"Hey.."

Karl greets him a bit confused. He thought he was alone here.

He turns toward him completely as the boy approaches him.

"Where are we?"

"Not sure. Was only able to find these flowers."

Karl holds up the flowers he's holding and points to the ones in his hair, which Nick smiles at. He then points to the orange one.

"Where'd you get that one? I haven't seen it."

"Oh, just from over... huh."

Karl goes to point at the patches of flowers where he was, but all the flowers are gone now.

Nick looks at the place and then back at Karl, looking at him a bit confused.

"Huh? Over where?"

"Well.. they used to be over there but I guess not anymore?"

"Huh."

They stand there for a moment, trying to think of what to say until Karl slowly sinks down to the floor and sits down, making sure not to drop his flowers.

He then smiles up at Nick as he looks down at him confused. He gently pats the spot next to him in grass, making Nick slowly sit where he directed him.

They look out to the sun that is now setting, it's a pretty sight. Karl sighs softly, but jumps a bit when he feels his hand being held gently. He smiles softly as he looks at him and Nick's intertwined hands.

He then slowly looks up to meet Nick's eyes. They're a light brown, they perfectly reflect the sunset. Making it look like there is a sunset in his eyes. So pretty.

Karl blushes with Nick, making them both smile at each other. They enjoy each other's company.

As the sun goes down they slowly move closer together, slowly closing the gap between them.

As they are about to touch lips everything stops.

A loud alarm clock goes off, signifying that it is time to get up to get ready for work.

Karl groans loudly as he shuts off the alarm by slapping it off the table.

Of course it just had to go off right as it was about to get good.
