Queen B closed out the Grammys with "Take My Hand, Precious Lord," but the performance sparked drama when fans were upset that R&B vocalist Ledisi was not chosen to sing the same hymn she recorded for Selma.

Grammys 2015

In Selma, Ledisi portrayed the late soul singer Mahalia Jackson to perform the gospel song written by Thomas A. Dorsey. Ledisi fans caused a Twitter uproar when they found out Beyonce was chosen to sing the song instead.

Many fans on Twitter also acknowledged that Beyonce may have been chosen to sing the song due to her larger fan base.

Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier asked Ledisi about the drama on the Grammys red carpet, but the singer responded, "I don't have a clue."

"The song 'Take My Hand, Precious Lord,' it's been going on forever," said Ledisi. "It started with the queen Mahalia, the queen of soul Aretha Franklin, then I was able to portray and sing my version of the song and now we have Beyonce. Her generation will now know the song so I'm a part of history. I look it at like that instead of looking at it as a negative."

Frazier also asked John Legend how Beyonce was selected to open his performance with Common for the Oscar-nominated song "Glory," but Legend responded that Beyonce reached out to them.

"We were actually approached by Beyonce," Legend told Frazier. "She wanted to do an intro to our performance and introduce us. You don't really say no to Beyonce if she asks to perform with you."

Ledisi coincidentally lost to Beyonce in the Best R&B Performance category. The pop star took the award for "Drunk in Love" over Ledisi's track "Like This."

This isn't the first time that Beyonce has been criticized for singing a classic song. In 2009, singer Etta James said Beyonce "was going to get her a** whipped" for singing James' "At Last" for Barack Obama's first presidential dance with wife Michelle. James later responded that she was joking.

SONG OFTHE DAY: Partition

Driver roll up the partition please [x2]
I don't need you seeing Yoncé on her knees
Took 45 minutes to get all dressed up
We ain't even gonna make it to this club
Now my mascara runnin', red lipstick smudged
Oh he so horny, yeah he want to fuck
He popped all my buttons and he ripped my blouse
He Monica Luwinski'd all on my gown

Whoa dere daddy, daddy didn't bring a towel
Oh, baby, baby we better slow it down
Took 45 minutes to get all dressed up
And we ain't even gonna make it to this club

[Hook:]
Take all of me
I just wanna be the girl you like (girl you like)
The kinda girl you like (girl you like)
Take all of me
I just wanna be the girl you like, girl you like
The kinda girl you like is right here with me
Right here with me
Right here with me
Right here with me

[Verse 4:]
Driver roll up the partition fast [x2]
Over there I swear I saw them cameras flash
Hand prints and footprints on my glass
Hand prints and good grips all on my ass
Private show with the music blastin'
He like to call me peaches when we get this nasty
Red wine drip filth talk that trash
Chauffeur eavesdropping tryin' not to crash

Oh, there daddy, daddy now you ripped my fur
Oh, baby, baby be sweatin' on my hair
Took 45 minutes to get all dressed up
And we ain't even gonna make it to this club

[Hook]

Hello!

[English translation:]
Do you like sex?
Sex. I mean, the physical activity.
Coitus. Do you like it?
You're not interested in sex?
Men think that feminists hate sex,
But it's a very stimulating and natural activity that women love.
