"Steve, let's t-talk about-"

"About how you fucking kissed that guy? How you kissed him while wearing the ring that I gave you?" Steve cut me off. His eyes were filled with pain, betrayal, and anger while looking at me. He was heavily breathing when he suddenly showed a sarcastic smile. "Motherfucker, I didn't know that you're a slut, Lovely,"

I froze upon hearing his words. His words hit me while looking at his vulnerable eyes. He was always this sarcastic, but hearing him saying this to me while knowing that he was hurting, pain me. He's sarcastic, but he never tell any harsh words to me. Ngayon lang, at tanggap ko. Tanggap ko dahil kasalanan ko.

I shouted out of surprise when Joseph hardly punched Steve in the face. He immediately did that upon hearing Steve's words to me. I tried to stop him, but Joseph was too mad to be stopped. His eyes were full of rage as he pinned Steve on the wall by holding his collar. His eyes were like lasers as he glared at him. Because of Joseph's hard punches, Steve was too weak to him that he couldn't even push Joseph away.

I was trying to remove Joseph's hands from Steve's collar when he started to talk. My eyes widened while listening to him. I couldn't cut him off because he looked so determined to make Steve listen to him.

"Between the two of us, I'm the one who can only call Lovely a slut. Fucking watch your mouth because you're not the one who got cheated on. I am the one who got cheated on with you. Your fiance cheated on me with you, so, you better fucking watch your mouth before I rip that off." Joseph remarked with emphasis while still pinning Steve against the wall.

My hands shook as I saw how Steve's eyes changed. His eyes were only looking at Joseph while he was still processing what he just heard. Tears fell from my eyes as I tried to talk to clear things out, but the voice in me left. My hands fell from Joseph's arm as I stepped backward, trying to brace myself to explain the things that I should have told him in the first place.

"Do you hear me? Ka... bit... ka... Kabit ka," Joseph remarked as he slowly plastered a sarcastic smirk on his lips. "Kabit ka lang kaya itigil mo 'yang bibig mo sa pagsa-salita ng masasama para kay Lovely dahil ako lang ang may karapatan para gawin 'yon dahil kung hindi, babasagin ko 'yang bunganga mo hanggang sa tanggalin mo na lang 'yan."

After saying those words, Joseph let go of Steve, who looked at me with betrayal in his eyes. I opened my lips to talk, so, I could explain, but Joseph held my arm and pulled me away from Steve. I looked back at Steve, who I saw crying while sitting on the floor.

I felt a fang on my chest upon seeing him which made me tried to pull my arm from Joseph's hold, but he just tightened his hold as he looked at me with so much rage in his eyes, making me stopped out of fear. This is the first time I saw him this so mad. Yes, he was mad at me when we first met after years of being separated, but his eyes... The anger in them looked so much different.

I want to be mad, but the fear of him was coming first. I was scared of him. Takot ako dahil kailanman ay hindi niya ako tiningnan ng may gano'ng lebel na galit. He was mad at me, yes, but his eyes were showing pure anger. Nothing more.

Joseph harshly opened the door of the practice room, where his cousins immediately went to us with their worried faces. They were about to ask what happened when they noticed me crying while trying to look back. They also noticed Joseph, who looked so mad.
