This question sounded more serious than the one before.
Yeonjun had one leg on the small table and his arm was resting on the arm of the couch. The boy's slippery question made him smile and he tilted his head playfully: "Haven't you been asking me personal questions the whole time?"
Taehyun bowed his head, giggling softly.
"That was small talk," he explained to this inexperienced boy and a gentle smile formed on his lips. As if it was his first time that he had had a real conversation.
Kind of cute.
"So inexperienced," he commented on the older man's counter-question with a shake of his head. "I could teach you a lot about that," he said, unable to prevent his voice from dropping an octave lower.
Yeonjun saw this tone as a sign of flirtation, lowered his chin and even let out a playful laugh before rubbing his hand over the bridge of his nose.
Had the younger one loosened up so quickly and was even willing to flirt with him?
After reading him the riot act earlier?
Of course, Yeonjun couldn't let this chance pass. If he got the chance to flirt with Taehyun, then he had to do his best. "Oh yes?" He asked with a grin and looked into the blond's big eyes, then leaned slightly forward: "Maybe I need tutoring?"
Oh, the blonde was sure of that.
"Careful, Choi Yeonjun. I'm a strict teacher," he warned the pink-haired man, holding up his free hand and placing the tip of his index finger on his forehead to bring him back into line. "You have not answered my question. May I ask you something personal?"
"You may," the 26-year-old grumbled through the resumed distance. He rubbed lightly over the place where his index finger had been.
With a brief glance that flew across the room, Taehyun leaned back and innocently rubbed his right eye with a palm. "Why did you claim that there is nobody in your life?"
Yeonjun's expression turned serious again, then stared at a point in the living room and thought. He no longer had a quick answer in store; he looked rather thoughtful. It was a question he'd never been asked before, not even Soobin. "There is no one I trust so much to let myself fall. At least nobody I could trust to understand me." When he had said it, he added shortly afterwards: "And I don't think I need anyone in my life either. I can do just fine on my own."
