YEAH, YOU RID ME OF THE BLUES,
EVER SINCE YOU CAME INTO MY LIFE

As he stood outside trying to clear his head, after having reached the conclusion that Millie was not anywhere in or around the pool, the door behind him opened.

In a split second, he swore he saw Millie. But it wasn't. It was simply a trick of the imagination mixed with whatever remnants of alcohol remained.

Instead of her caramel waves that just barely brushed against her shoulders, longer, darker hair met his gaze first. A dead giveaway for another familiar face.

He would be lying if he said he wasn't disappointed.

Olivia didn't seem to notice him as she stepped out, rubbing at her shoulder with the palm of her hand, eyes downcast. He stepped aside, leaning closer to the wall beside him. When her gaze lifted, catching sight of him, she froze.

There was a spark of anxiety within her eyes. Finn wasn't sure if he was right with that assumption. He still didn't really know her too well.

Brows furrowed, he decided to ask. "You alright?"

She glanced away, stepping further to lean against the brick wall. Aimlessly nodding, staring straight ahead. Definitely didn't seem fine.

Either way, he didn't want to pry.

His attention swept away as he looked towards the crowd inside. It was too dark to clearly make out anyone's face from where he stood. Still, he desperately tried to find Millie's face in that sea of people.

He was sobering up enough that he felt he could go find her now. Finn hoped that she was doing alright, wherever she was at. It was dangerous to be out there alone when anyone could try to take advantage of her.

Shaking his head, he tried to disregard that thought. It wasn't good for him to think of anything bad possibly happening. The sooner he found her, the sooner he would be at ease knowing that she was perfectly fine.

Before he could even move a muscle, Olivia spoke up.

"What are you doing out here by yourself?" she asked softly, tilting her head.

Finn glanced towards her, mentally cursing himself for not having left sooner. This girl loved to talk. There was no telling how long she would hold him up.

With a shrug, he simply stated, "I needed some fresh air."

She frowned. "Oh, but... Away from everyone?"
