YOU GOT ME TATTOOED
ON YOUR MIND

Spending the evening watching a few movies in the shared bedroom of Sophia and Olivia was not the way Finn would have seen his time going there.

He would have expected another night full of simply talking with Millie about anything. Another night of hushed whispers and revelations. Just another night of them two, alone in their own little world.

Anything with Millie alone would have been enough for him. Well, actually, more than enough.

But when Millie stepped back into the room, a box of cookies in her hands, the announcement of their sudden plans caught him by surprise. His eyes widened further when she explained that it was Olivia who had invited the two over for a bit. Although he hadn't any real expectations, that definitely was the last thing he would've predicted.

There wasn't even enough time for him to question anything about this. Millie walked in, told him what they were now doing, and then she rushed him out of the room with her, leading the way to the opposite side of the yacht where the two girls would be.

Even though she didn't say anything, he knew that she wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea. Her hands were fidgeting with her thin, woven bracelets as she cradled the cookies towards herself. Not to mention the soft frown on her face as they walked, clearly lost in thought.

Before he could even ask her what was bothering her (assuming she would have told him), she was knocking her fist against one of the bedroom doors, where they were quickly greeted by none other than a beaming Olivia who was gushing about how excited she was to see Millie here with them.

She had been pulled into a hug, and Finn could see that she stiffened in her hold, smiling and laughing despite her unease.

When they stepped in, he quickly noticed that this was exactly the same as their own bedroom. The setup of the room was nearly identical, but the two girls had moved a few pieces of furniture around to create a wide enough amount of space on the floor in front of the television to replicate some sort of sleepover setup.

There was an abundance of pillows and blankets spread out along the hardwood floor that they sat in the middle of. Beside that space, a low coffee table had been pushed aside and held a variety of snacks. Crackers and cheese, some sweets and chocolate, and Finn even caught a glimpse of a wine bottle.

"Cheese, crackers, and wine?" Finn questioned, lifting a brow as Millie shut the door behind them.

This seemed more like what his own mother would have with her when her friends would pay them a visit. Minus the blankets and pillows laid out on the floor, they would have just stuck to the large couches of their living room. Talking mindlessly about whatever as they got tipsy off wine and laughed way too loudly before he took the opportunity to snatch a glass of wine for himself on his way up to his own bedroom.
