You sat in your pitch black room in the middle of the night the only light coming from your laptop where your anime was playing. Your eyes glued to the screen, hoping whatever was playing could distract you from your troubles that has been eating away at you.

"If only they were real"

"What if i could help u?"

You froze.

Maybe im imagining things theres no one talking to me.

"Oh no im very real you know?"an almost audible voice echoed through you.

I must be crazy

What is going on? Thoughts raced through your mind as you attempt to process what was happening.

"I can help you"

"To what?"

"Shift"

I really am crazy. Theres no such thing as shifting.

"What do u mean?Who are you?"

"Who i am does not matter.I can give you what u desire most but with one condition. Are you willing to accept?"

"What is the condition?"

"Ill give u one year in any world. However, when you are there you cannot interfere with the story line of the world."

"Thats it?"

"Well, yes"

"And if i don't?"

"That doesnt matter. Simply remember it. Are you still willing to go on?"

"Wait hold on-"

"Do you still want to go on?"

Do i really want this? But..

If it means leaving everything behind
Maybe i can finally be happy..

"Yes i do."
