Ayie
After airing our episoded in A Week As A Star, eventually, tumigil na din ang tsimis sa amin ni Paeng. We both have been okay with our work and life now. Konting kembot na lang, magiisang taon na kaming kasal at wala namang gulong nangyayari so far.
Maybe people saw how we live in that one week. Paeng has been a good husband, well, he was a good man after all.
The only guilt I have now is I increased Lola Sally's allowance. Kung dati 50,000 monthly, now I give her 100,000 for her not to bother us anymore. And I am keeping it from Paeng kasi magagalit talaga sya. He doesn't want me spending too much on people who make me sad. Because honestly, Paeng's been providing for us since Day 1. After our wedding, he never fails to give me his whole earnings. As in lahat and I just give him allowance by how much he asks.
And today, ang pinagtatalunan namin ni Paeng ay yung pagtigil ng mga kapatid nya sa bahay. Pinilit ko kasi sya pagbakasyunin dito yung dalawa, tapos ipinamili ko ng mga damit, tapos inenroll ko din sa mas malapit kaya wala na sila reason para bumalik doon.
"Ayie!"
"Please?"
"Ayie naman."
"Bakit kasi hindi sila pwede dito?"
"Ayie!"
"Gusto ko kasama natin yung mga kapatid mo dito sa bahay."
"Ayie, hindi pwede."
"Eh bakit naman?"
"Ayie!"
"Paeng naman, masama ba yung kasama natin sila?"
"Ayie, bahay mo ito eh."
"Bahay natin. Kasal tayo Paeng."
Paeng sighed.
I seat beside him on the bed. Nakokonsensya ako, I've been experiencing all the best in the world but I cannot spare some to his sisters. Imagine, he gives me his earnings and spares very little for his sisters. Sino ba ang hindi makokonsensya?
Matagal na naming issue ito but Paeng really doesn't want his sisters here. Ayaw nya kasi na mag shell out ako ng pera para sa kanila. He wants to provide for all of us. Yes, us, including me.
"Paeng naman, wag ka na magalit. Let me please help."
"Yie, alam mo naman na ayaw kong inaabuso ka. If I let you do this, what's the difference now?"
"The difference is I am insisting and you are resisting. You are not asking anything. You even gave me what you earn. Can I not do the same?"
"Ayie, hindi kita pinakasalan dahil gusto ko ng pera mo. Hindi kita pinakasalan para bayaran mo ako."
I caressed his face and straighten his frowning face.
"Do you know that if it wasn't you, I might have not agreed to this setup?"
Paeng pulled me to lay down on the bed.
"Do you know that if it wasn't you I would not even dare help in the first place?"
Paeng pulled me so I face him while we both are lying in bed.
"Ayie, I do not know what I did right for me to have this chance. It may not be real, I may be just a decoy but this? This chance to be with you, to hug you like this? This is an impossible dream."
"What? Hindi ko naiintindihan Paeng."
"I really like you, sa screen pa lang. I have a crush on you when I met you. And I've fallen in love with you now that I knew you. I love how kind you are, I love how beautiful you are, I love how patient you are. I love you Ayie, believe it or not, I love you so much."
