Prologue

Ariel had just finished her lessons at her boarding school. She had snuck out of the school as she wanted to go out into the city. She snuck out of the school because she has gotten bored of being cooped up in one place all of the time. She wasn't in her uniform anymore as she didn't want anyone to realise that she was meant to be in boarding school at the moment.

She was walking into a café along a road in Paris when she bumped into someone. She wasn't looking where she was going but before she could look up to say something the person said to her "Watch where you are going?"

She muttered "Sorry" to him while she looked up. When she looked up at his face she was shocked to see that he looked so handsome.

Suddenly the guy turns to me and said "Well, hello there beautiful."

Ariel then blushes and said "Sorry, for bumping into you. And my name is Ariel Hummel by the way."

"Well, that's okay and my name is Sebastian Smythe," the guy said.

"It's nice to meet you, Sebastian. Can I call you Seb though?" Ariel asked.

"Why?" Sebastian asks.

"Because saying Sebastian is a mouthful and I don't want to say Sebastian every time I see you so I just thought of a shorter version of your name," Ariel explained.

"Ok. That makes sense but I will only let you call me Seb if I can call you Belle?" Sebastian asks.

"Yeah that's fine but why Belle?" Ariel asked.

"Because it is French for beautiful," Sebastian said.

"Oh, yeah it is," Ariel said. She then walked around Sebastian and got something to eat and drink. They both sat down at a table and then spent an hour laughing and talking to each other. They got really close within the hour of talking to each other.

An hour after Ariel bumped into Sebastian, she checked the time and saw that it was 4.30 and she realised that she had to get back so she could get into her uniform before dinner. She then gets up quickly and rushed to gather her stuff. She then turned to Sebastian and said "Sorry, I have to go. I have to get back to school."

"Let me take you back. I can drive you back," Sebastian said.

"Thanks. That would be great. I go to Ermitage International," Ariel said.

"Thanks. I actually know where that is," Sebastian said.

He then drives me back to my school but before Ariel gets out of the car Ariel hands him a piece of paper with my number on it. Ariel then said to him "This is just so you can text me."

2 months later it is now the summer holidays and Ariel has just gotten back to Lima and she is glad to be back home. Her dad picked her up from the airport while Kurt and Finn were out and she was glad to have some time with her dad. She has been texting Sebastian non-stop for the 2 months they have been friends and they have gotten to know each other really well.

She turned to her dad before they got down their street and said "Dad. I know I have been going to boarding school in France for years now but I don't really want to go anymore. I just want to go to a normal school. I don't mind if I go to a boarding school here in Ohio but I just don't want to go back to that school in France."

Burt then turned to look at her and said "Yeah that's fine. I can get you into school with Finn and Kurt. They go to McKinely and they started like a month. I can sign you up so you can start soon."

"Thanks, dad. You're the best," Ariel said. They had reached their house by now and they have just gotten out of the car and got her bags out of the boot. They then got into the house and they both brought her bags up to her room.
