I woke up, on the couch with Reed. We we're laying down, and Reeds head was on my chest. She was hugging me, and her leg was over mine.
I gently got up trying not to wake her, but she woke up.
"Huh, jade?" She asked in a groggy voice
"Yes I'm right here Reed."
"Where are you going?" She said stretching her arms
"I'm just going to make breakfast, go back to sleep"
"Mkay" she said, and laid back down
I looked down at her, and smiled before walking to the kitchen.
I was just about to start cooking when I heard someone come in. I peeped my head out the kitchen, and motioned for her to come over.
"Jade, what's going on?" Cameron asked pointing back at Reed.
"I told you I had to let her move in already." I said leaning back on the counter
"Yea but like-"
"But like?"
"Jade, you're going to get hurt again, you already know it."
"Cameron I'm not going to fall for her like that again, I know that she hurt me, but I'm not going to let her get hurt."
"I know, but you can't just let her shrivel her way back into your life again."
"I won't, not romantically, I just don't want her to go out again like that."
"Okay Jade I trust you, anyways I just wanted to come over to tell you that Sarah wants to hangout shes in the shower right now, and she wanted me to ask, and I have to go back home to see family for a while."
"Uh sure, let me finish eating breakfast first, and tell them high for me."
"K love you." She said, gave me a quick hug then left.
I decided to get ready before I saw Sarah so that I could just go. I put on a white spaghetti strap cropped tank top, and some low waisted greenish brown cargo pants, put on some high top converse, and some beaded bracelets.
I continued to make breakfast, and decided to make Reed and I some eggs, and avocado toast.
I plated them, and placed the food next to the now awake Reed. She was rubbing her eyes, and when she fully awoke she stared at me.
"You look beautiful" she said
"Oh, uh than-ks" I said, and we ate
"Hey Reed my friend and I are going to go shopping later for a couple hours, and I might stay with her until her girlfriend comes back."
"What wh- Uh I hate cool, what's her name?" She said composing herself, I smiled, and replied
"Oh her name is Sarah, she's Cameron's girlfriend." I saw that Reed clearly flinched from her name, but again composed herself.
"Oh that's great" she said with a smile on her face.
"Okay ima head out now, I'll see you later." I got our dishes, cleaned them, and put them away, then left.
I walked over to Cameron, and Sarah's apartment. I walked in, and was met with both of them arguing.
"Sarah you told me you liked women only!"
"No I didn't Cameron! I never said that!"
"Okay but besides that! You texted your ex!-"
The turned to me, and we're silent.
