Reeds POV
I drove into the parking lot, and the first person I saw was Cameron. She was still so very beautiful, and I still had flashbacks of your relationship even if I love Jade more, or that I'm more masculine now.
"Hey Cameron" I said hesitantly as I got out the car
"Let's go" she said, and started walking into the vineyard
We looked together on the gazebo to see if she left her phone, or bag, just anything that would help us find her.
There was, her bag was still on her seat with her phone in it.
"Jade would never leave her phone, and if she did then show couldn't have gotten a Uber?" I said picking up her stuff
"Hey we should check the actual vineyard, because we went for a walk there alone, and I left her there." Cameron said
"What why would you leave her there?! In her state?"
"You know nothing about our relationship, so shut up."
We silently walked the vineyard, and we were walking on a calm dirt path lit up by fairy lights.
"Cameron-"
"Not here to talk, just want to find her."
"But Cameron-"
"Are you dead Reed?"
"No but you are to the main problem here!"
"Okay tell me, main problem right? Then say it"
" I know that you broke up with her because of me."
"W-what no don't say things you don't know"
"But I do, I know it was, but that's not the point. We both love Jade so much, we have to get along now."
"What wh-" Cameron was cut short when we saw a shiny object on the floor infront of us.
We walked over to it, and Cameron picked it up. She immediately broke down in tears.
"Hey hey Cameron what's wrong?"
"This... this is Jades hairpin that I chose for her to wear tonight."
"Okay so she's here?"
"No! No Reed!" She yelled, and pointed at a towel."
I gently sniffed it from a far, and my nose started burning, and I lost my balance for a little. I knew it was drugged. I almost started breaking down too when I turned it over, and saw the perfect shade of a red lipstick stain.
I looked up, and placed my hands over my face.
"Fuck fuck fuck!" I yelled in anger and pulled my hair
"Fuck this is all my fault" Cameron said
"Yes it is! It is your fucking fault!" I said, and grabbed the collar of her suit
We stared struggling against each other taking our anger out on one another for a couple minutes.
"Why are we fucking fighting it's not going to help!" Cameron yelled at me
I pushed her away and started walking back to my car.
"Where the hell are you going?"
"I'm looking for Jade" I replied
"Reed I understand it's my fault but we have to go together, you have good eyes and I know Jade like I know myself"
