Calm day, no fighting, no arguments, just a smooth day. Poseidon was in his library reading while his wife was, actually where was his wife. Nothing is good when the palace is quiet.

Poseidon shut his book and walked out of the library to find y/n, however he never found her in her usual spots. She was either in the kitchen baking, garden, or sewing room.

"Y/n, where are you?" He called out as he walked towards the room. He opened the door to hear her vomiting.

His blood ran cold and quickly walked over to the washroom and found her vomiting in the toilet.

He ran to her side and held her hair, she was pale and look rather tired. After she was done he cleaned her up and took her to the bed.

"How are you feeling my love?" He asked as he gently put her into they're bed and covered her

"I'm okay my darling, I never anticipated that being pregnant will have you vomiting non stop in the bathroom." She nervously laughed

Poseidon froze, "can yoy repeat that." He said unable to grasp what she said

"I'm pregnant." She smiled

Poseidon hugged her and kissed her head. "Thst very good news my love!" He smiled and pulled back

"I'll have everything set up for you, so no doing hard work around the palace. I'll have Hermes come by everyday to check on you and the baby." He said unable to contain the excitement

Both Poseidon and y/n tried multiple times to conceive, but y/n lost each one, leaving her in depression and hate for herself.

"How far along do you think you are? So I can let Hermes know and so I can keep a close eye on you." He said as pulled out come more pillows and blankets

"4 months, I didn't want to tell you sooner incase..." y/n began to cry causing Poseidon to drop everything and ran to her side and held her

"Wven so my love, even though we had a hard time, I never once thought of leaving you. Even I you gave me a child or not, I'd never leave your side." Her assured her as he wiped her tears away

"I just felt so useless and unimportant to you!" She wailed and hugged him tighter

"I'm still here my love, through thick and thin. I promised you on the day we married that I'd never leave your side." He softly said and held her face, lightly giving her a kiss on the cheek
