Please Don't Be Pregnant || Chapter 30

Katie's POV
"Do you guys know what Ashton planned with Amy yesterday?" I asked, sitting on one of Luke's couches. Luke invited me, Becca and Meghan over to just hang out with the guys. He would've invited Amelia, but none of us could get a hold of her or Ashton.
"No idea." Meghan spoke, playing with her pink hair. "Bec?"
"I have no sweet clue." She said, texting Amy once again while twirling a strand of her faded lilac hair in her other hand. I sighed, throwing my head back.
"That's it. I'm calling her." Meghan exclaimed. I jumped up and ran over beside her, flopping down on the other couch.
"Speaker phone!" I almost shout. Becca slid over, on the other side of Meg. She pressed the call icon and pressed speaker phone. There was about 4 rings, before a voice appeared on the other side of the line.
"Hello?" Amelia spoke, her voice sounding a lot peppier than usual.
"Where the hell are you?" Meg shouted.
"Yeah! It's like you fucking disappeared!" Becca said.
"Guys, relax. I spent the day with Ashton, then this morning we went out for breakfast. I'm alive, if you haven't noticed." She chuckled on the other end.
"Did you guys fuck?!" I said, a little too loudly.
"WHO FUCKED?!" Was all we could hear from the other room.
"MICHAEL QUIET!" I shouted back at him. "Anyways, so did you?" I asked, anxiously.
"Guys, no! I'll tell you about it later! I'm on my way home anyway." She spoke. "And I have some news for you guys too, so I'll tell you when I get back!"
"You're not pregnant again, are you?!" Meghan asked.
"Oh my god. They fucked." Becca spoke.
"Guys, we didn't do it, and no I'm not pregnant." She said. Just as she spoke, Luke walked into the room, with Aiden on top of his shoulders.
"You better not be pregnant again! I'm not watching another one of your kids while you and Ashton bang each other senseless." He said, bouncing Aiden up and down.
"IM NOT PREGNANT!" She shouted through phone.
"Who'd you bang?" Another voice on the line spoke.
"Shut up, Ashton. I didn't sleep with anyone." She said.
"Besides me." Ashton mumbled, followed by a loud slap and a yelp of pain.
"Anyways, I'm almost home guys, so I'll be over at Luke's for a bit to get Aiden, then you guys can come over and we can plan our trip for Spring break."
"We're already at Luke's! Just come get us when you're home!" Meghan spoke.
"Alright! See ya after!" She spoke, before hanging up. Just as Meghan locked her phone, Luke took Aiden off of his shoulders and sat down, before putting him on his knee. I got up and sat beside Luke, facing him. I rest my chin in my hand and smirk wildly at him. He looks down at me with a curious look.
"What?" He asks, looking slightly uncomfortable.
"You're cute when you're good with kids." I exclaim. He leaned forward and pecked my lips.
"Guys! Keep it PG!" Meghan says from the other couch.
"Says the one who steamed up a telephone booth." Luke spoke. Meg's face went red.
"Do you know what Ashton planned for Amy?" I asked, giving him the cutesy eye. When the words left my mouth, his face slightly fell and his shoulders dropped as he bit the inside of his cheek.
"I-I think he said something about the carnival." His voice quieter than before.
"That's freaking adorable!" I gasped and squealed, kicking my feet on the floor. I lean down and look at Aiden. "Did you have fun at the carnival with mommy and daddy?" I asked him. He simply squealed, nodding his head and shaking his legs up and down, mimicking my movements from the moment before. Just then, Calum and Michael walk in and plop down on the other couch, Michael beside Meghan and Calum, hesitantly, by Becca. I look at him and he looks nervous. Then I take a glance at Becca, she also looks nervous.
"Sooo... What do you guys wanna do?" I asked, breaking the silence.
"Why don't we wait for Ashton and Amy to get back, then we can decide something after?" Meghan spoke. I look beside her and Michael is just looking at her, his expression looks all smug, a small smile on his lips. He definitely likes her a lot.
"Good idea!" I exclaimed. By the time those words left my mouth, the front door opened, followed by two familiar laughs. The footsteps make their way to the living room, and in walks Amelia and Ashton, their fingers intertwined. They stop in their tracks when they spot all our eyes on them.
"Hey, guys." I greeted them. They both smiled and looked at each other, Ashton then nodding. "What's going on?" I asked what we were all thinking.
"We have some news." Amy exclaimed.
"Please don't be pregnant." Luke said, crossing his fingers.
"I'm not. Don't worry." She said. She took a deep breath and grasped Ashton's hand tighter. Her smile then grew wider. "We're officially a couple!" She announced, her and Ashton throwing their hands that are clasped together up. We all cheered and congratulated them.
"So we going to plan our trip to Cuba or not?" Meghan asked. I slipped on my shoes and nodded my head.
"We will see you guys later!" Amelia spoke, before pecking Ashton's lips, and I with Luke's.
"B-bye Becca!" Calum stuttered quite nervously. I glance at Becca and her face blushed.
"See ya Calum!" She spoke, before walking out the door.

Amelia's POV
"Okay, so. What places and things do we wanna do or go?" I asked, a notebook in hand.
"I wanna go tanning on a net over the ocean!" Katie exclaimed.
"Let's go swimming with dolphins!" Meghan said.
"We need to go get pizza!" Becca shouted, causing us all to laugh. I chuckled and wrote down the list.
"Guys I'm so excited! Can you believe we leave in two weeks?" Meghan asked.
"This vacation is going to be amazing!" Katie said. My smile slightly faded as my thoughts started taking over.
"Have you guys ever thought of what you were going to do once we graduate?" I asked, tapping the pen on my notebook.
"I was going to take the year off and work a little." Katie spoke.
"I was planning on going to makeup school!" Meghan exclaimed.
"I don't even know." Becca laughed. "What about you?" She asked me.
"Well, I've been considering this university, but I don't know if I'd get accepted." I say, shrugging my shoulders.
"What one?" Meg asked. I take a deep breath and spit it out.
"University of Birmingham..." I mumble, my muscles tensing as I wait for their responses.
"Amy! That's all the way in England!" A surprised tone in Katie's voice.
"I know! I know! But it's my dream school!" I say, shaking and clutching the notebook. "Their courses are amazing and the campus is beautiful and has an historical look to it! Guys if I don't get in, I don't know what I'll do!"
"That school is so expensive! How could you even pay for it?" Katie asked.
"I'd get a student loan and pay it off after I graduate." I said.
"What would you do about Aiden?" Becca asked.
"I talked to Liz about it and she said he could stay with her." I exclaimed.
"What about the house?" Katie also asked.
"I'd probably rent it out to someone." I explain.
"Well you do what you want because it's your future and nobody else's." Meghan spoke, causing me to relax.
"That feels amazing to hear that Meg. Thank you." I say, before standing up. "Now, I'm gonna go get my laptop so I can book the hotel!" I smiled, heading towards the stairs after I did a little hop. This is going to be amazing!
I can't wait for spring break!
