I had a lump in my throat. I felt like I couldn't breathe. My instinct was to run, but I couldn't move. I was frozen in place. I couldn't even read her face. What was it? Confusion?

"Rhiannon, hey.." Hinata awkwardly laughed, his face almost as red as mine.

FUCK, SAY SOMETHING IDIOT!

"I-" I tried to find words, but I couldn't. She just stared at us. Then, she just started.. Laughing..?

"Who are you guys talking about?" she chuckled.

OH THANK FUCKING GOD.

"Erm, Olivia Rodrigo! Yup I love her music." I gave her an awkward thumbs up.

FUCK THAT DIDNT SOUND BELIEVABLE AT ALL-

She just stared at me for another minute, then started laughing again. She patted my shoulder.

"Finally, someone besides me Tanaka and Noya that have taste~!" she chuckled.

Instinctively, I wrapped my arms around her. Having her in my embrace immediately calmed me down and I guess my body knew that because it happened without me commanding my body to do it. Like a magnet or something.

At first, she didn't hug back probably out of shock. Then, she wrapped her arms around me with a shocked and confused expression on his face.

"Okay we're hugging now.." she awkwardly chuckled. Both me and Hinata took a deep breath, thanking god she didn't hear us.

We all hung out a bit longer then, Rhiannon decided to head out. She said she was going to go see her brother and her brothers friends.

"Bye bye Natsu baby, I love you!" she cooed at the toddler, and Natsu smiled.

She's adorable with children.

"Bye ugly." she pulled Hinata into a fake hug then kneed him in the stomach. He gasped for air and Rhiannon laughed.

"Sorry, sorry love you." she ruffled his hair as he still struggled to catch his breath.

Great, now I'm jealous of Hinata too.

Rhiannon walked over to me and smiled. She went on her tippy toes to reach my height and kissed me on the cheek.

Nvm I'm not jealous anymore.

I got major butterflies and my stomach felt all tingly. I felt my usual blush come back, god it was stupid how easy she could make me blush.

"Bye Kags." she smirked. She rested her chin on my chest, going off her tippy toes as she awaited my response.

"B-Bye." I said. She pulled away and walked out the door, leaving. I took a deep breath and looked at Hinata, who was smiling at me.

"Oh shutup!" I groaned. He gasped.

"I DIDN'T EVEN SAY ANYTHING!" he whined.

"So, what do you wanna do?" I asked him.

"Wanna play volleyball?" Hinata said.

"I was hoping you'd say that."

We played volleyball and just talked for an hour or two then, I decided it was my turn to go home. As I was walking, I passed a market and I immediately stopped in my tracks. In the glass window, was a crystal necklace. It had a silver chain with a sage green crystal attached, wrapped by a silver wire.
