interhigh pt 2.

I was fired up.

My nerves quickly turned into excitement. Excited to wipe the floor with Aoba Josai.

"Rhiannon are you okay?! Your limping.. Are you sure you can play?" Takeda asked.

Nvm nerves are back.

"Uh.. Y-Yes Sensei I am okay!" I bowed.

"Ya sure Rosso?" Ukai walked over, chewing on a toothpick.

Lord have mercy I'm about to bust😫!

For some reason when I was fawning over Ukai, Kageyama came in mind. And this morning...

My cheeks turned dark red.

"Now your red.. Ya sure you don't have a fever or something?" Ukai asked and I tensed up.

"N-No sir! I'm just uh.. Nervous! Yeah I'm uh nervous." I awkwardly laughed. Ukai jokingly wrapped his arms around my shoulders, making me tense even more.

"Don't be Rosso, you got this!" he sneered.

"Y-Y-Yes sir!" I hurried away from him and once I was out of him and Takeda's sight, I slapped myself in the face.

"God get a grip!" I whispered to myself.

Because of my limp, Ukai wasn't letting me be a starter this set [sob.]

But that's okay, because now I can get a better look at both Seijoh and our team's weaknesses and advantages. I used to do this all the time during basketball, everytime I was benched for whatever stupid reason.

"Make me proud Tanaka." I patted him on the shoulder. He smiled.

"Yes ma'am! I am determined to become your favorite upperclassmen!" he exclaimed. I giggled.

"Oi Noya! Cmere a second!" I yelled. He ran over and I huddled him and Tanaka up.

"Just so you know, there are multiple hot girls in the crowd today. Probably more than before. Show them you are better than Oikawa. They should be watching you, not him."

I knew that would hype them up, and it did. Because they both started cheering and got very determined.

"Hinata, make your bestie proud." I did the fuckboy face as I went up to him, jokingly dabbing him up.

"Yeah!" he smirked.

"Win this you'll be one step closer to being the ace." I winked at him and he gasped in realization.

Since I'm not a starter, I'm going to be a hypeman. Now I got the team's three dumbasses hyped up. Time for my dumbass..

I walked up to Kageyama and grabbed his water bottle out of his hand, taking a sip. It was ice cold and indeed bussin bussin.

"Give that back dumbass!" he yelled as he grabbed the water bottle out of my mouth. I giggled and his face relaxed. I went on my tippy toes and cupped his face with my hands, and his face immediately turned red.

"God you get flustered so easily.." I smiled before kissing him. It was a good kiss too, the type that I had to pull away a bit for both of us to catch our breath but our lips were still grazing the other's.

"Good luck. Not that you need it or anything." I smirked. To my surprise, he smiled and kissed my cheek before pulling away. The words that next left his mouth shocked me even more then the fact he genuinely smiled.

"Thanks, I love you." before I could respond he jogged away, not realizing what he said. I was a FLUSTERED MESS.
