Screaming could be heard from the plains and two boys and an avian demon were trying to escape from a giant frog.

" Why can't I summon Shadow right now?! " Y/n said, panicking as he tried to summon Shadow over and over for a close range attack but ends up in failure. " Help! Aqua! Help me! " Kazuma shouted for the blue haired goddess who was only laughing at their demise.

" Oh dear! It's so funny! You two running away and asking for my help! Kazuma, what is that flushed look on your face?! " she said while she couldn't stop laughing. " Let me hit her, let me hit her, let me hit her... " Griffon said as he grumbled. " We can't! Either the frog or Aqua, since the frogs may swallow us alive! " Y/n said as he ran faster.

" Kazuma! Y/n! If you want me to save you, let's start using honorifics when talking to me! " she said. " Aqua-sama! " Kazuma shouted but Y/n didn't shout. " Hey! Do you wish to get eaten alive?! " Aqua said to Y/n. " No, but prove your strength first before I call you with honorifics! " Y/n retorted back and due to Aqua rambling more, the frog focused on the goddess.

" Well, then, after this you have to express gratitude to me you shut-in NEETS! " Aqua said to them. ' I'm not a neet you idiot. ' Y/n said in his mind. " What? " Kazuma turned around and wondered what it was. " Join Axusixi teach when you go back to the town- " Aqua kept rambling on and on about it as Y/n already tried to sneak behind the frog that was approaching Aqua.

Aqua, stupidly unaware of the frog, was being eaten alive. " Griffon. " Y/n commanded. " Right-o. " Griffon responded and circled the frog, firing electric shots from its maw, which hit the frog and then Griffon went in front of it, exploding a field of lightning on it, which made it stagger.

The frog became stunned, spitting out Aqua and the critter's skin had turned into an almost statue like appearance. " You have to deal the finishing blow Y/n! You know nightmares like us can't kill! " Griffon shouted at him and both Y/n and Kazuma dashed towards the frog and jumped, stabbing the said creature both with the cane and the sword respectively, killing it.

Griffon, Kazuma, Y/n, and Aqua: Konosuba!

Aqua was now sniffling and crying due to her demise. " So... Learned to shut yer trap missy? " Griffon said as he perched onto Y/n. " S-shut up....  " Aqua said and was still crying. " By the way, that thing is Griffon right? " Kazuma asked. " Yep. Chose it as my perk along with the others.... Seems like the other two are locked. " Y/n answered in a monotonously.  " T-thank you, you two... Thank you! " Aqua said and clung up to them. The stench of the frog's mouth reached up to the trio's noses.

' It stinks! ' all of them thought in unison. " We should probably go back for the time being. This is not a monster we could deal with. " Kazuma said. " Ummmm... Then how do we get money then? The monsters don't drop any loot and..... I don't think killing a frog would sustain the daily needs. " Y/n said as he forgot he had 4000 Eris in his purse. " Liar! You have 4000 Eris on your purse! " Kazuma shouted while Aqua continued crying.

" Hey, hey, hey. Why the hell are you still crying? You're a goddess, not a crybaby! " Griffon said to Aqua. " I have been tarnished! If anyone from the Axusici teach sees me like this, they will literally lose their fate in me! Can't you see that you chicken?! " Aqua wailed and whined at Griffon which irritated him. " My reputation as a goddess will be ruined! " she added. Griffon and Kazuma looked at her in disdain while Y/n was busy with his Adventurer's Card to mind Aqua wailing like a baby.
