Chapter 13: Pull My Devil Trigger!

" So you made a name for yourself huh? Pretty lame if you asked me. " Dante taunted Urizen as the giant demon gazed at Y/n, or more accurately, the Force Edge on his back.

" That sword... Give it to me. " Urizen said as he pointed at Y/n. " Well.... If you want it, " Y/n said as he approached a Proto Angelo and then decapitated its head in one swing with the Force Edge.

" Then you'll have to take it. You should've known that right from the start. " Y/n said as his hair changed to white. " Nightmare!!!! Go for a walk. " he called out.

Large thuds were heard all the way from the forest and Nightmare jumped in front of them. " Now, I'll give you the chance to leave or die. Make your choice. " Y/n said as his party members stood by his side.

" You fools will die! " Urizen shouted as the horde of demons, Hell Spawn, Riots, Furies charged at them as Angelos formed a shield wall formation. The remains of what was left on the number of undead knights also charged at them.

" This party is gonna get crazy, so let's rock! " Dante said as he transformed to his Devil Trigger and flew towards Urizen as the formation was ruined. Nightmare and Shadow went on a rampage and slashed and slammed all the demons surrounding them. Griffon flew to the sky to bombard the others with lightning, especially spamming Blockade technique at the formation of Scudo Angelos.

" Sacred Highness Exorcism! " Aqua chanted as the demons were hurt from the archpriest's spell, while unfortunate once were vanquished easily but most of them were Hellspawns who couldn't dodge it. She always ran away whenever a Riot or a Fury came up at her and was save by either Wiz by freezing the assailant, or being sneak attacked by Chris.

Y/n on the other hand was having fun killing Furies, Riots, and Proto Angelos with the katana and the Force Edge as he indulged himself of trying the whole arsenal out. Clashing with Furies and Proto Angelos, he triumphed over them with some assists from the lich.

" Thanks. Now then, we have one more demon left to take care of. " Y/n said and turned to the statuesque demons and rained down Mirage Blades to deal the finishing blow.

Dante on the other hand was struggling to fight Urizen as he had gotten stronger when they last met. Now able to cast spells of his own and having a large mana pool and demonic energy as back up, Urizen had casted a multitude of spells that kept Dante at bay. He had landed a couple of hits to the demonic half of Vergil but Urizen had also adapted to his attacks and this world.

Grabbing Dante by the leg, Urizen threw him aside and started casting a spell Y/n fully know all too well as he always saw that kind of spell in his previous party. " Run! That's the Explosion spell! " Y/n shouted as all of them ran away from Urizen.

They barely got away from the Explosion as Nightmare stood in front of them to guard them from the shockwave of the spell. A loud boom was heard as every single one of them was blown away and tossed aside from the explosion, separating the party.

With Kazuma's Party

" Bakuretsu, bakuretsu, la, la, la! Bakuretsu- "

Booom!

Kazuma and Megumin then shouted in fear as they heard and felt the Explosion from afar. " That's Explosion magic! Damn it, it's even stronger than mine is! " Megumin said as she was stopped by Kazuma from rushing in the scene. " Hold on, hold on, hold on. That's a high grade spell but we'll get killed if we go in recklessly! " Kazuma said.

" Y-yeah but.... Y/n and Aqua are- "

" They'll be fine! He isn't that idiotic to die from it! Aqua is safe in Y/n's guidance- "
