" So... Basically ghost. " Y/n said monotonously as Sparda nodded. " Glad to see you two getting along. I've been watching you and Dante. " the ghost said. " Yeah, wish Vergil wasn't too traumatized of the loss. Then again, I have no place to say anything. " Y/n said as he remembered Urizen.

" You had a chance in reuniting or becoming him. Why didn't you? " Sparda asked as he sat down on the haystack. Y/n didn't answer for a while and felt fear. If he did reunite with Urizen, what would've happen to him? He would've not become himself anymore if he did reunite and fuse with Urizen.

" You're afraid of losing yourself huh? I could understand that. Now that you have friends such as Kazuma and the party, you wouldn't want to leave them. You think becoming Vergil will make you leave them. " he said solemnly as he gave Y/n a pat on the back. " I guess I do, and I don't want to recklessly seek power by straight up sacrificing so many people anymore. Other than having my Nightmares as my friends, they are the signs of the sins Vergil made and the consequences. " the latter said.

" Uh-hm. I guess you'll need some sleep then. Tomorrow is another day. Keep in mind, you have some plans to make a Devil May Cry office tomorrow. "

" Did you read my whole mind? " Y/n asked Sparda and was worried. " Nope. Just some important parts, so your privacy is safe. Now good night son. " the Legendary Dark Knight said and patted Y/n's head before he disappeared.

' Welp.... I guess that was strange. ' he thought and went to sleep.

Wiz's Shop(Now soon to be a new Devil May Cry Branch at Axel)

" It's early and someone is already knocking at the door. Huh? " Y/n saw a silhouette all too familiar to him. Opening the door, he saw Eris who was teary eyed but forced herself to smile. " L-look, I'm sorry for everything alright? I should've said all about it yet I didn't. I feel like an asshat for not saying anything. " Y/n said and Eris just said,

" It's fine, I can understand your decision. Don't worry, we're still going to be friends. "

She then left and walked away, silently sobbing once she was off the clear. Shadow then patted her on the shoulder before disappearing. " I hope everything goes well, Y/n. " Eris said before returning back to the afterlife.

Timeskip a little bit to late morning

" Owowowowow! Aqua! Stop it! " Y/n said as Aqua pinched his cheeks. " You let Kazuma-san learn an undead skill! How can I let you get away with this you bloody heathen! " Aqua said as Y/n's powers were slightly being sealed until Kazuma slapped her in the head.

" It's quite useful though, more useful than you in certain situations. " Kazuma said as Griffon laughed. As Aqua was being made fun of, she cried like a child as her tears were burning Y/n and Wiz as if they were being sprayed with holy water.

After 5 minutes, she was done crying as Wiz was slightly becoming transparent as Y/n's left arm had burn marks. A old man, dressed in somewhat noble-ish clothes then went to the shop.

" E-excuse me, is Wiz-san here? "

" Eh?! You're going to set up an office here? I mean, it would make more money since the whole gimmick of demon hunting pays high, but it's much safer that we stay this shop like this right? " Wiz timidly asked. " Yes, yes, I know. It was just an offer. The reason why I did that was because Dante and I are basically demon bait just like what Aqua is in terms of other undead. " Y/n said as Aqua sneezed.
