"You're family actually believes in that bullshit?"
Shiloh pinched Shilah in her side resulting in her wincing and falling on my bedroom floor dramatically.
I nodded my head at her question and continued drawing in my sketchbook- still a bit on edge about the topic.
It's been a few days since my mom broke down crying in my arms about the old legend. I spent the past few nights tossing and turning the more I thought about it. After we talked, I packed a backpack full of necessities and started to sleep with it in my bed or on my back- which was very uncomfortable may I add.
Today was the twins and I's "hangout day" and it was my turn to pick a place for us, so I decided that we'd just chill in my room instead of going out.
"They have good reason to believe in the legend and it's not bullshit," Shiloh fussed at his sister, snapping me out of my concentrated state,"If you read anything other than smut on that stupid app- you'd know about the people that disappeared on the same night one hundred years ago." He pushed up his brown glasses and fixed his hair in my full length mirror.
I snorted at his words and glanced at the girl on the floor who rolled her eyes at her brother's statement.
"I just can't believe people think that fairies and witches and shit are real." She stayed laying on the floor, maneuvering into a starfish position and pondering out loud. "And I read more than smut bitch. You know I love Stephan King's books so don't even go there."
"Do you really believe that even though our planet is seventy percent water, and we've only discovered about seven percent of it- that there's NOT mermaids or something else out there?" I asked incredulously.
Shiloh hummed in agreement and Shilah scoffed, dropping the subject and instead talking about a cute girl that she met at work.
I tuned her out while I sketched out the long hair that he always has into that half up half down style.
The twins still don't know about that day at the park, the note that he wrote me, or the messages that we sent to one another.
I was saving that information until today because I really wanted to see their reaction in person, since we all take romance very seriously.
"But yeah, I might text her. Not sure yet, she seemed kinda off." Shilah got off of the floor and sitting down on the edge of my bed.
"Shilah." I said in a serious tone, catching her attention immediately.
"Are you out of your rabbit ass mind?" I narrowed my eyes at her and she immediately hopped off the bed with her hands up.
"My bad Omi. I forgot." She laughed. "No outside clothes in the bed." She mocked me.
I threw one of my decorative pillows at her face- which she blocked of course- and rolled onto my stomach, sketching out his slightly almond shaped eyes.
"Soo..." Shiloh drawled out, coming closer to my position on the bed and glancing at the sketch.
"Soo..." I repeated, raising my eyebrow.
"Anybody making your heart flutter?" He grinned that adorable grin of his, one that I've always had a hard time denying.
"Well..." I sat the pencil down slowly.
The twins immediately jumped on my bed and invaded my personal space, asking questions about the 'mystery person' and ignoring my ' no outside clothes on the bed' rule.
