"Yeah well when you finally smash, call me and I'll buy your ass a plan B if you need it." Shilah leaned against my front door waiting on Shiloh who was tying up the laces on his shoes.
I rolled my eyes at her, something I tend to do a lot whenever she opens her mouth.
"Yeah yeah, I'll let you know." I shook my head and laughed slightly.
Her brother stood up and gave me a hug, his big sweater wrapping around my shoulders warmly.
"See you next Thursday, let me know how it goes with that supermodel of yours." He snickered after pulling away. I rolled my eyes again and waved goodbye to the twins who were walking to Shilah's car.
She never was the type of girl that liked physical touch, she didn't like being hugged or leaned against often.
Yet... she was a sex fanatic.
The world sure does work in mysterious ways.
I closed the door and went to the kitchen to make a snack before going to my room and taking a power nap.

A loud 'ding' from my phone made me slowly open my eyes and look around the room.
It was darker now, the sun had set and i heard pots and pans clattering in the kitchen, a sign that my mom was back from work.
I checked the time on my phone, the brightness setting made me squint my eyes.
'10:08'
I turned on my side and scrolled down my notification bar, seeing a text from the one and only.

Hey. Just got through with work, are you free to chat?
A smile grew on my face at the text and I began typing my reply.
Missing me already? I'm flattered.

My eyes widened a tad bit at his boldness. I felt the grin on my face grow slowly after rereading his text.
He was such a smooth talker, it seemed like he always knew what to say.
Except for that one day..when I called him pretty.
Oh what I would give to see that reaction just one more time.

I bit my bottom lip in an attempt to make the smile on my face smaller.
It didn't work.
I spent the day with my best friends. We hung out at my house since they were off work today. Wby?
A few moments passed and I began to think that he wouldn't reply. I sat my phone down and unmuted my TV.
"AHH WHAT THE FREAK." The youtuber screamed loudly at a Jump-scare that happened in his game playthrough. I chuckled a bit at his antics and leaned my back against the pile of pillows I'd made.
